My hours are pretty self explanatory. This game can be quite captivating, especially if you are goal oriented and also love some beautiful scenery, story, animations and music.Getting into it foe the first time can be overwhelming as you will be presented with all kinds of missions and quests. It may turn you off, or it may hook you up.

This game can be enjoyed somewhat casually, but the best is truly in the endgame activities such as raids and nightfalls, which do require a good time investement (aka grind).

If you have any bit of OCD, you might get hooked and want to sink a bunch of time. Then it might start clashing with real life or cause you to ignore other games completely xD

The story and the storytelling are top notch. The voice actor really carries this one with the constant narration of the action.
I liked the gunplay, it felt good and not overly complicated to pick up.

Excellent game I must say, maybe a bit short if you just play on normal. 9/10

I only played the solo campaign as I despise PvP in most video games.

It was on par with previous CoD campaigns. Very epic, very cinematic, lots of action, gloriously orchestrated battles and of course lots of drama and death.

I had fun but it was extremly short, vastly shorter than MW2 and MW !

I would still recommend if you like epic war FPS, as long as you pick it up on a good sale.

Loved the story! Art direction was great, gameplay was fairly easy to pick up and quite rewarding to use. You can do every levels in very different ways, from stealth to all out action and everything in between.

I highly recommend picking up this game if you are into immersive stories and solid gameplay.

Real solid game, looks great, plays great. Alternating between characters, their interactions and story is quite a blast. It also has quite a long single player story, which is pretty nice.

My only gripe is that it is still quite expensive after so many years.

Note: I did not touch multiplayer as I really do not have the time for more than 1 or 2 multiplayer games.

Super over the top action and story, most characters are really silly. I had quite some fun playing it , yet it did have some dull action and awkward scenes here and there.

Still a great buy if you are into GTA like games.

Great story with amazing story telling. Once I started the game i couldnt help but wanting to play more and get to see whats next.

While it is mostly an action game, it also offers good stealth sequences.
The gameplay variety makes the game quite fun to play..

I really enjoyed this game. Action is fun and varied. The voice acting and story really carry this game through, especially the Reverend.

The graphics may date a bit but it still looks great for a 2007 game!

This is a very atmospheric horror FPS game with some survival elements. It relies heavily on cooperation and knowledge of the game and levels. Learning how to play the game will take some time and an open mind. The gameplay is a mix of stealth and loud section. The stealth parts are critical as you can save a lot of ammo and health that are needed for the loud sections. You will need to learn how to properly stealth as well as hold your own while fighting hordes. The stealth part is a bit of red light / green light, but there are most subtleties to it. The shooting parts are srtaightforward, yet the enemies sometimes move in a pretty erratic way, complicating aiming. There are multiple weapons with varying degree of damage and range, nothing different from other FPS. You will also have a selection of tools, knowing how and when to use those is critical to completing levels.

The game also has matchmaking. While it works ok for the early levels, it will be quite a long shot for the later levels. If you really get into the game, I highly recommend using the discord or find a regular group to play with.

Lastly, this game is HARD, it will take you a couple tries and take advice from more experienced players. Expect to wipe the floor with your face many many times, especially in the later levels. This game is not for everyone. If you are unsure, try it out for less than 2 hours and consider refunding.

Update 2022-11-23
With the re-release of Rundown 1, !0 chambers announced they will be including older rundowns one at a time. I think this is the best decision they could have ever made. We have to be honest, games eventually end and stop being worked on. Having all the levels available at all times is great to attract new players seekings cool gaming experiences. I'd say this is now a must buy for any hardcore FPS enthusiast.

Background :
I have been following and playing this game since it was talked about. I played Alpha and bought the game once it came out in Early Access. I played every single rundowns, albeit not every single levels. I always hit the C's and sometimes the D's with the right team. I got to a E once, during R4 and sadly never finished it (some toxic people would say "skill issue").

All through development I feared the game would be too hard and too unforgiving, especially in the early parts of the game. The early game experience is critical to on-boarding and retaining new players. If you discourage them early, you lose customers and potential new ones via bad reviews and word of mouth.

Communication and PR from the devs was never good, up until v1.0 was out we had very little idea of what would be next for the game. Which is a bit worrisome and created a bit of "suspense".

When I saw all the core changes, mostly checkpoints and bots i was relieved. Playing the game myself, solo with bots, was quite enjoyable and confirmed my initial feeling. The early game is now vastly more approachable, which bodes well for the future of the game.
