BTW it's alright but better on a sale

Don't expect the next Monster Girl Quest. It's a fun 30 minute long game with a sense of humor to it, and there's not a lot of content because of its length. The combat system is based on timing instead of actual real RPG mechanics which was a huge minus from me.

Terms of smut it's.. just okay. Just don't expect something much more meaningful out of this and enjoy the humor.

EDIT: All memes aside, this game is pretty "meh" - although I appreciate how pretty the game genuinely is, but the base game.. definitely gotta patch it with the HF patch. I can't post links because this review will get axed if I do so, but it makes the experience of this game sooo, sooo much better - more customization options, fulfilling *ahem* certain fetishes that aren't in the base game...

If you're into guys though you should probably find another adult game. Men are an afterthought, this game is for making waifus. Oh, and it never goes on sale ever - and 60 dollars is honestly asking a lot for this game.

lame as hell i alt-tabbed like 50 times especially in lockers ♥♥♥♥ was lame. kinda funky atmosphere though 4/10. btw get a cd key this was not worth 16 dollars

As some other kind of Chinese person that's been to Hong Kong, the atmosphere and setting is just perfect and genuinely unsettling and riveting. I found this game to have a genuinely interesting vision and atmosphere but the story had really weird pacing, awkward gameplay mechanics and really slow movement speed. Puzzles were genuinely interesting.

Sound design is extremely repetitive. Stealth sections feel clunky, awful, and horrible. "Boss" sections are unexciting. Finale is horrible. Translation isn't all that quite there but serviceable. I wouldn't buy it at full price but maybe when it goes on sale.

The amount of content you get for 5 USD is crazy. It's fun, it's scary, and it's tense. There's strategy and depth that goes onto how you actually beat the maps.

My only complaint is that I think the game could be balanced better around endgame, especially as a solo player. Maybe maps can be downsized just a bit for solo play?

Indeed, it is a fun game but keep in mind of the "Early Access" label, because it is indeed an unfinished game (no hate, there is plenty of room for updates and growth.)

Combat feels weird and jank. Screechers (the rock-dropping bird) for example will clip through rocks like it's nothing. You can't even cancel drawing a bow. Friendly Fire activated doesn't seem to really work.

However, it is a fun and engaging survival game. It isn't boring and there's a lot of room and liberties given to you.

Such an intense game and truly fun sometimes but please fix the optimization.
