Amazing (fully voice-acted) class stories make this a great single player experience as well as the usual MMO fun.

Galactic Starfighter mode is like the step between the old X-Wing and TIE Fighter games and the new Squadrons.

They've got bounty hunters and other non-Force heroes as well as classic Jedi and Sith stories.

And most importantly, Space Barbie.

Amazing art and music, wonderful characters each with their own progression as you befriend (or court) them, and all the relaxing farming, fishing, and spelunking gameplay you could want.

Fantastic gunplay with an absolutely ridiculous number of weapons and items. Anything can be a gun!

This is basically a multi-player dating sim that works like a party game. It's possible for players to work together and win together, or sabotage each other and try to be the only one with a cool date to prom, so it can be as competitive or cooperative as you like.

The writing is hilarious, and it also has a ton of content, including many secret endings to try and find. Monster Prom is pretty fun on your own, but if you can get a friend or two to play it with you I highly recommend it.

The main thing that sets this apart from other controllers is that it is completely configurable. Have you ever encountered a game that you wished you could play with a controller, but had no controller support? With the Steam controller, you can easily configure the buttons to act as whatever inputs you want, bypassing even the most unforgivably terrible controll schemes. While this does require a bit of effort from the user, the software is very simple to customize, and it makes the Steam controller usable with literally every single game.

The only downside I can think of is that in some cases, I found I missed having a right joystick. It could very well be a lack of coordination on my part, but I thought the camera in Dark Souls III was easier to control with my PS4 controller. I use this PS4 controller for a few games on Steam for this reason, but with the vast majority I use the Steam controller for its versitility.

Years later, this is still one of the most immersive RPG worlds ever created.
