This DLC is exceptional for C++ API uses, I have a lot of setups many using Lua but being able to get the correct calls setup, referencing other libraries. It has been a very long time since I had been excited to work with a game engine or be able to express myself and do experiments, Pro is definitely worth it for larger scale projects or if one is curious on what can be done, feel like I am going to be playing with these systems for a while.

Many sleepless nights are ahead of me but this is definitely worth the investment to support a quality engine and developer, what a treat.

This engine has made it easy to import from other engines, primarily 3D data I can export, the editor operates like a much better hammer from source, the scripting seems to be streamlined, it uses a very optimized lua integration.

I am only just getting into what is possible with this engine and it is impressing me more and more. I have not figured out what I want to do with it but given what I have seen before, my view is as long as the engine is streamlined then that is what matters. Simple outputs run fantastically so far, I have a long way to go to see what is truly possibly but so far I am impressed.

Not only is the performance, compilation, and experimentation fantastic, the developer behind this has an entire walkthrough built in and a series on youtube covering up to advanced systems for developers.

In all my years this is what I have dreamt of for an engine to experiment with and even at this early time I am loving every moment. This is definitely an engine I recommend for beginners to play with, others do not offer as much direct support.

If you use Discord, the lead developer behind this engine does weekly workshops and discussions on Saturdays. I cannot recommend this engine enough.

System is good enough for this game, but it is really annoying how at random times I can keep walking but my mouse input stops for a second or two.

Other than that the game runs fine, but I am just not having fun with this one, so refund it is.

Get this so you can get Star Wars Genesis

Playing this on the free weekend, there are some minor hiccups in some trials, the gameplay seems pretty refined and the world looks pretty great.

Also all the players out there building open bases, leaving schematics, armor, weapons, and resources, really helps out new players and is appreciated.


After a good few hours with the game I would not recommend it given how it operates. I spent most of my time building up, transferring everything to my next base, then the server went down. I figured oh well join another will keep playing, nope, all my resources I dumped at my base are gone, have to wait for that server to come back on? When the server rebooted and I joined it, I am out of resources, stuck across the map, crossing that distance is not doable or really reasonable. Bases should transfer with the player, not be locked to a single server.

Hopefully some day they will make it possible to migrate between servers properly. I have enjoyed my time on this free weekend but half the features of this game seem half thought out and are just frustrating when you get soft locked by a broken terrible server setup.

Edit: I refuse to waste more time making a new base just to get back at it so I decided screw it I will walk slowly across the desert back to my base

Nope, arbitrary BS nonsense, got killed and respawned, all my armor, all my gear gone.


This game sucks, never buying it and never going to play it again.


Even better you can't uninstall it in Steam, it just freezes on uninstalling, so now I have to manually remove it off my drive.

Sold most of my steam inventory off, got this during the last discount, a good follow up to RDR2.

The only sad thing is they really didn't change much, dueling is still not very fun, even a slight update to the textures would have gone a long way.

Runs great on the steam deck and is still one of the best games out there, glad it finally came out on PC.

Dead Space, more like Stutter Space

I played the first game back when Dead Space 2 came out, never finished either, just didn't do much for me, this remake however was a much better experience.

I like the changes they made to the story, I enjoyed the improvements in gameplay, the game looks and runs great besides for the horrible random stuttering though I have heard that was way worse on release.

Given I sold my steam inventory off to get this it was worth the discounted price.

Played on my deck and it ran pretty well. The world, story, characters, and overall experience were good. Would recommend even when homeless.

I played the original beta, back when Valve and EA were separating and it was origin only. I thought the game was alright back then, sorta decent PvP game.

Finally years later I sell some trading cards, grab it for $2, heard good things about the single player which is my only interest at this point.

Imma be honest, the lens flare is obnoxious, the game is desaturated to such a degree I had to use reshade to make it look somewhat decent, the story is so basic and dumb, the acting is bad.

Gameplay is what it is, a battlefield game, a step above Call of Duty but both are so bad these days and haven't done much since 2010 to really move things forward.

Even at $2 my life would have been better not playing this game.

Back when it first released it was a janky mess, it still is a janky mess. The path the developers have taken over the years, making it more heavily online forced, bad progression mechanics, terrible events, banning any and all mods that tweaked gameplay or made it more fun with friends.

Funniest thing I have seen was the trolling trainers where you attach effects to other people, then report that user, the devs don't even bother following up and give long or permanent bans to paying customers.

These days the community is tiny, filled with mostly people who have stuck with it for years and figure the ghost out immediately, many of which are just using trainers without alerting others, and of course all the hilarious griefing.

At this point this game is on it's way out. Best to avoid it.
