Hades is the game with magnificent visual style, epic soundtrack list, enthralling plot story and, what is more important in rogue like games, breathtaking gameplay.
The visual style is unrepeatable, I haven't seen such drawing style anywhere, all the characters, animations and location are filled with details. It is very satisfying to see such colours in the game.
Second not less important part of Hades is its soundtrack. The only word applicable here is epic. You'll feel all the brutality beating off hell creatures in the game.
The plot of the game is highly concentrated on relationships between characters, and it is fascinating to observe it developing, because it is deep and much deeper than in most of AAA-games.
The gameplay component of the game is very multi-faceted. There are many ways to upgrade the character, starting from "darkness" which develops stats, ending with different aspects for 6 weapons, and each weapon has its set of unique combinations. Locations in this game filled with lots of varying enemies, which try to stop you from getting out of hell (that is what the plot of the game based on). Obviously there are bosses on each location with which you have some relationships as well.
Hades is the game in which you will die a lot (that's what rogue-like is about, isn't it?), so this aspect of the game is also viewed with no less detail.
So all these game elements combined represent a perfect game, at least perfect rogue-like game and one of the best rogue-like games ever made, so if you fond of such a genre it is a must to spend at least a few hours roaming the Underworld.
