I bought this game, blinked and then it was 2:30 in the morning.

I'm not a review writer person, but I wanted to add my plus one to the mountain of positive reviews. It's simply the best RPG we've had in years.

It's got really good writing. It's dark and atmospheric. It's a good successor to the Zee.

I was having crashing problems and the Dev responded on how to fix those for me.

That's worth a recommend in my book.

I've given this game three years and finally came back and finished the final release with a buddy of mine, and at the end of this glorious storyline he summed it up perfectly. "This game feels like it was completed by a couple of high schoolers, NONE of which have ANY creativity." Literally, nothing but fetch quests. Like a single player MMO. It gets repetitive really fast.

If you've already played Terraria and beat it, this game scratches that itch. That sandbox 2D itch. If you haven't, don't waste your time and money on this one. Go play Terraria.

Wow. Installed this game and couldn't leave my computer until it was finished. Absolutely stunning storytelling, beautiful graphics and just overall captivating. Firewatch gets a thumbs up from me! :)

I'll be comepletely honest in this review. I have more hours in Payday 2 than I have in any other game. It's great, even with all the DLC and bugs that have lingered in the game since launch. It's worth getting. It's provdied me and my friends literally 100's of hours of entertainment since launch.

Now, the developer's, on the other hand, are completely garbage. They made promises early on in the game's development that they only addressed years later. Game balances have been a joke, to the point where you're almost forced to buy some of the dlc just so the game is more balanced for certain game diifficulties. Fast forward to the introduction of microtransactions, which was a huge backstab by them after explicitly promising at the game's launch that there would be no microtransactions. I know they've been removed, it's the *concept* of the developers promising one thing and then doing another, is what pisses me off. It's been a lesson to me as I will be very wary of purchasing any future releases by Overkill.

With all that said, It's a good game made by a bad developer. If you would have asked me before the Payday 2 Ultimate Edition release, if the game was worth the base price + 150$ of DLC when not on sale, I would have said HELL NO! 45$ for the game and all the DLC, on the other hand, is completely worth it. I have 285 hours in it that says so.

Worth every penny. Combat is fluid and smooth. The amount of mods available for this game is ridiculous. The amount of freedom you have from the start is amazing. One of my favorites.
