Contrary to the contrarians especially in the initial release. This release is FINE. it is by no means the best but we have seen worse ehem FF VIII "Remaster"

Chrono Cross is at worst branded to be a sequel of Chrono Trigger ... which TRIGGERS a lot CT fans but to me i don't see it that way. It is more like The Best NON SUIKODEN GAME game. if you would view it at such vantage point the game is hella good. The cross world is an amazing world

Game play wise this is a product of Square's experimentation during that era of gaming. it is a very unique experience to say the least and if you are one to complain about it then it is like complaining why the 70's feels like the 70's

Music wise not a single soul in this world can argue that this game has one if not the best sound tracks of all time .

With mods added to the game, the experience is a lot better. people are clamoring for 1:1 remakes these days... While this one is NOT THAT . it is still the same game you played back when most of you were kids . definitely worth buying and to fiddle around with mods and pretty much worth every replay you want

still the same game,you will experience it however the only upside on this version is that there are better character models. IT ENDS there. the 2013 release with the right set of mods makes this game very mediocre . performance wise the 2013 version is actually better for almost all devices while this current version suffers a lot of frame issues. This version is branded as a remaster... but one would wonder which part is the remaster?
