An example of failed DLC management.

Some of these weapons are still good and usable, but they have significantly tuned down the bow and staff included. Neither is really worth of using anymore on harder difficulties. If that's any prediction towards the future the same will continue. I'd expect torpedo to be next on the list or "fork" pistol due to "second thoughts" for "balance". Yet, in fact there are plenty of base weapons, which by same terms should have been nerfed equally. Vermintide 2 is not priority for FS anymore and with these "balance" changes you certainly see that in practice.

If you like variety for your weapons, then it's alright buy, but just don't expect much. FS rarely, if never, makes any changes afterwards to weapons they have nerfed. List of hangar queens due to this is already too long.

This DLC as continuation is a prime example of how things should not be done with paid DLC.

Well, Vermintide II, certainly took me by surprise. I expected maybe 100 hours of playtime or so... Yet, here I am soon hitting 600 hours and still see myself playing few hundred more.

So far the best 4 player melee orientated co-op game there's without any shadow of doubt. Combat is intense (more as you move on with difficulty level), fast-paced and that's the hook you either like or dislike. Stepping up from one difficulty to another is a rough road after leaving Champion difficulty. That's part of the fun because outcome is not predictable, challenge is there and learning takes some time.

Every character is well thought and implemented from voice acting to usability with various strengths and different skill sets. You need to learn differences and how to use different weapons. There's plenty to learn and some weapons plainly are better than others. Still, there's enough variety to choose from. The biggest "obstacle" comes soon after starting the game, because there's gearing and leveling up phase. That goes for every character and takes tens of hours easily. In short it's a grind and likely the part many do not enjoy. If you have a friend leveling up, then you can share the pain by playing maps in turns. One joins at the end, gets the exp, change turns and rince & repeat. Occasional double or triple exp events help a lot so keep an eye out for them.

If you plan to play with bots, their gear and level, is what you have achieved for them so far. That's does put some restrictions for solo playing, which I'd not recommend for Vermintide 2 as a main way of playing anyway. Bots do not really shine either with their brain power, but Improved AI mod helps. Also, there's no so called balance mechanism, if you wish start playing with someone new. Meaning game is either too easy or too hard to another for quite some time. Still, it's a good game and the journey may be well worth it.

DLC(s) are not needed at the beginning. I'd get them later on, if you like the base game. If host has DLC map, you can play it without owning. Last but not least. Vermintide II is a lot more fun with friend(s). Full team of gaming buddies is not needed, even with one, it's a blast and fully playable all the way up to legend difficulty at least. Last difficulty is locked behind DLC, which is worth it, but nothing to worry about for some time.

Warmly recommended as a co-op FPS game. Challenging, fast spaced, nice atmosphere and re-play value is high. To get further in game you need to play again and again to unlock new characters, weapons and to gain upgrades/abilities. There's wide set of difficulty levels to choose from. Every playtime has random elements in upgrades to choose from chests, scrolls and weapons (with varying inscriptions). Luck plays a role that is.

Some functions for a co-op game are lacking. There's no function to join the game, if you have connection drop nor there's possibility to join game in progress. Not such a big deals, but can be frustrating, if you get dropped out after hour of play time. These hopefully will be added at some point, but I do not know.

Save game only works for solo play, but I wouldn't say soloing is the strong point for this game. Characters in game are not well balanced, but most of them are still fun to play for extra challenge. Looking at you Mr. eagle, the only character with armor (is better than shield) and ability to be invulnerable while using special skill. Other characters could use a bit love too.

In all for the price you get a lot in return, if you go for co-op and especially if you have friend or few to play with.

This DLC is not as bad as reviews indicate. Actually, it's quite alright.

New enemies, new map, new difficulty level and new weapons. All of those easily worth it, if you like the base game and get this from sale.

New game mode lacks possibility to play as private match. Other than that, it's not even that bad.

Not all good, not all bad. Rightfully mixed reviews.

Maps and atmosphere work quite well, but story lacks substance and in the end it just plainly fails. Modding weapons, exploring and unlocking gear was fun at first, but quite soon you'll have all you need. After that playing does get a bit tedious. Some game mechanics do leave room for improvement too. I.e If you get alert during free roaming on map, enemies will spawn endlessly, until alert goes off. Similarly, if you unlock new base of operations, friendlies will magically teleport there and all the previously present enemies will vanish.

Developers should have given a bit more thought and time for this game, then it would have been alright. Still, if you want semi-open world FPS shooter with cliche story and get this from deep sale, then it might be worth it.

Youropa is an enjoyable and lighthearted puzzle game with a nice gravity twist. I've never played game like this before. Up and down really are relative terms. Camera movement is a bit weird and doesn't follow flawlessly, but once you get used to controlling camera by yourself, then the experience becomes a lot smoother. Still, a nice game.

Ps. If Alt+tabbing causes game to crash windowed mode may fix that. Worked for me at least.

Definitely one of the better CRPGs these days. Successor of Baldur's Gate saga in spirit and still being unique. It's a challenge to start, if you're not familiar with Pathfinder or D&D system, but still not over complicated. Pathfinder Kingmaker won't hold you by hand. It's possible to mess the whole game to the point that you have start over or load save from who knows how far. Story is okay and has it's moments, but nothing truly amazing. Quality of quests varies from average to good.

Learn the system.

Save often and into separate slots.

Don't expect that this game is forgiving.

And you might enjoy Pathfinder: Kingmaker as much as I have enjoyed.

More like this for VR, please. I'd love to see temples, ancient historical sites and shrines from all over the world. Yes, without tourists like in this one.

State of mind leans more towards interactive story than a game in some sense, but it's a good cyberpunk setting with dark tone and few twists along the way. The main character is unfortunately somewhat annoying guy and could have been with little effort more interesting person, but at least he's human with his faults. Story is mostly enjoyable and well paced, but there's very little replay value.

If you want movie like experience, with interactive environment and don't mind to play for story, then state of mind could be for you too. I wouldn't play it too much at one session because story will lose it's immersion quite fast.

Interesting story with good & fresh ideas kept me playing until the end. It's not Planescape torment, but rather just within the same game genre. I had no expectations and I guess that's partly why I was pleasantly surprised. At first game did not feel so great, but after few hours world started to intrigue me more and more until I was hooked.

Pre-setting to enjoy Tides of Numenera is that you must like reading, because there is a lot of it. Writing is mostly pretty good, but in few occasions towards the end it's plainly average. Story is centered towards different dimensions and relations between characters & events in the world.

It could have been better game in some ways, but still, if you like stories and CRPGs in general it's worth it. Especially, if you get it from sale.
