The modding support and built-in RNG is so good that you can get hundreds of hours of playtime just from the 14 base campaigns. Add onto that the community made campaigns, and this game is infinitely great.

It's basically a co-operative zombie shooter where you go from A to B. there are multiple levels per campaign, with special events thrown in between, and a finale survival at the end before escaping. If that sounds fun to you, and if the game's Steam Workshop looks interesting to you, give it a shot!

Even if you might hesitate to buy it normally in case you might not like it, I'd still highly recommend that you get it regardless of that if it goes on sale. Because, when it does go on sale, it becomes very cheap.

I hate having gotten into this game, it was a massive waste of my time and money. I am not the type to say ♥♥♥♥ like "I want the time I spent back" as I think everything has a silver lining, but no dude I genuinely regret having gotten into this game I wish I never did. I'm glad to have stopped playing it.

The PSN debacle is over... at least for now. We won. Not only can we now continue to enjoy this game like before, but we may also keep it PSN free for future players. But, as Pirate Software said, Sony has now left a permanent stain on themselves, one that hopefully won't be forgotten and forgiven in the coming decade. With this said, here's hoping Arrow Head, or at least the game itself, can slowly recover from this with time. I'd rather - as a player - look back at these events a year from now and laugh.

But, gamers should not let their guards down. Complacency will only give horrible publishers and/or developers in general the freedom they need to abuse their playerbase for their own benefit. Because believe me when I say; other ♥♥♥♥♥♥ publishers and/or developers in this depressing industry haven't learned anything of value from Sony's mistake, they've only learned how to not get caught and the consequences of pushing too far. If we want Helldivers 2 - and any other game in existence - to stay clean, then we must stay firm with our terms as the people who give their projects life with our money and time spent playing them. So please - because we cannot trust them to learn anything from this drama - I want you to learn from it. I will repeat a notion from my original review "Helldivers 2 would not be where it is right now if it weren't for all the money and good publicity we gave them. If they - and any other publishers and/or developers - suddenly pull the rug on the people who made them who they are, then they deserve to face the consequences of their actions". And together, we have the power to not only achieve our goals but also to sustain it. We've achieved victory, but now we must sustain it.

So, feel free to celebrate. But please never let your guard down, especially around publishers and/or developers whom have lost our trust. Stay firm with your terms so that these scum never feel comfortable repeating the same mistakes again. And if such drama repeats ever again, then rally together to fight for what you believe in. Only together can we make this industry better. Thank you for your time.

P.S. I will leave my review negative for a while, I cannot give Sony what they want just because they made one tweet.

It's an amazing utilisation of proximity voice chat, and the only flatscreen horror game that actually somewhat scares me. Better with friends though, I'd recommend playing with at least a group of three.

It fixes some of the problems of the first game by; adding bullet falloff to the enemies (except for snipers for some stupid reason), giving you allies on all missions, and adding more health drops to each map.
With that said, it's still a frustrating unfun mess of good ideas but bad executions. I felt lost in a couple of maps, and it's very easy to outrun objectives because the scripting is still horrible. And like the first game, I also encountered props that I thought would make for good cover only to find out the hard and annoying way that enemies just shoot through it.
You won't be missing out on much if you never play these games, the future CoD games took ideas and characters from the original and this expansion and did it better. The only thing the original and this expansion has going for itself is their presentation which... WaW does better anyhow. Even if you got these games through the CoD bundle, I don't suggest you waste your time on these. Start with CoD 2, it'll be a more familiar and actually fun experience for those who started playing CoD during the goldenage.

The American campaign is great, you got allies by your side and you truly feel like just a mere soldier that is just trying to do his job. The British and the Soviet campaigns on the other hand expect you to pull off super soldier ♥♥♥♥, but you are just a soldier that can die in ~2 hits. The game forces you to either pixel peek or save scum. Combining that with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scripting and parts of the game where damage feels unavoidable at times, I really can't recommend a game that is only 1/3 good.

Been keeping an eye on the game for a while now, mainly through my loved ones, and what I hear and see of this game - mainly the tank gameplay - does not look good. Especially after recent events, I can comfortably say that you shouldn't give this game any attention or money.

It's Synth Riders but it's cheaper and there's a mechanic where you have to swing harder for certain obstacles. Can't complain much because of the low price, but also I cannot recommend this game to anyone over Synth Riders or Beat Saber. Those two games will give you the workout you need while also having more polish and content.

| The objective of the heist is to do a few mini tasks before getting to the part where you collect weapon parts to then make your own loot. I don't know why we don't just run away with the parts, but whatever.

| The weird premise aside, it's p fun actually. Especially combined with the score, you really do feel like a badass showing off your skills to your new contractor. Oddly enough, the objectives up until the part where you collect gun parts kinda felt secondary to the fun of keeping those helmets flying in a fun arena.
| Speaking of which, the map is segmented into specific sections where you are tasked with one objective. After completing your objective, you move on to the next area.
| The final area plays like a collect-a-thon. You are tasked with going around the area and searching creates by forcing them open with a crowbar. You are looking for weapon parts; a stock, a receiver, and a barrel. Some of the people I played with weren't much interested in this objective, but I enjoyed it quite a lot actually. It helped that the cops were kinda silly and they took my bags away into a very secure and easy to defend area just near a workshop. There are also a couple of fun gimmicks here like mountable machine guns you can carry around to different bipods.

| All good so far, right? If you've read up until now, you're probably already considering buying the DLC. Well... it ain't all sunshine and rainbows sadly. Your final objective is to blow up the workshops and escape with your loot. Fair warning; blowing up all workshops will make you unable to craft more weapons, so leave that until you are done crafting as you can go for extra loot... not that you should.
| Listen, I am all for greed. Greed is good, I play this game to steal as much as I can and have fun while doing it, but this escape man... Unless you're playing on a difficulty you find easy, do not attempt to steal all the bags. Why you might ask? Well:
-In order to escape, you have to go back through the whole map unless you bought a different escape. The different escape is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cage from Goat Simulator day 2 and Go Bank, so I can't say for certain if that option is better or worse. Up to you to decide I guess. This concept of going back through all the areas you unlocked is cool in concept, but the execution is a WWII Japanese style torture technique designed to specifically double the length of the heist.
-To help you on your way back, they gave you an exposed golf kart that can carry up to four bags. It controls like a forklift but it's faster. As long as you can clear the area, and steer well, it's p nice actually. One slight issue though; for whatever reason, they made the road bumpy as ♥♥♥♥. You are very likely to fall on your side and not be able to flip the kart back up. At least, the game didn't give me the prompt to. At that point mate, if you are playing solo, you. are. ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You gotta get off your kart and carry those damn bags to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boat. And if you flipped over early, then you gotta do this for the rest of the bags also.
-There is a zipline, but unless you got cooperative people you're playing with you won't be using it. The cops just steal the bags on the other side far too easily.
-But fine. Let's say you have none of the issues above and you just drive to the spawn point where the escape is. No big deal, right? At the end of the day, this escape just kinda played like a mini Meltdown escape. Except, you gotta deal with a ridiculous amount of enemy spawns in that open area. Yeah nah, I really don't know how to explain it better to ya pal, another reviewer said it best "This is pretty much Goat Simulator part 2". It's... it's so bad, you won't even get a good chance to unload your kart unless you parked it somewhere good, which is hard to do when you are getting shot at from literally everywhere. Just imagine the entire enemy pool located in a small environment where they got you cornered.
-And buddy, buddy o' pal, my good ol' buddy o' pally, the only good place you have there to camp has a massive hole at the back of it, where your back would be facing. No, enemies don't spawn there. No, they don't walk or glitch there either. Naaaaah, instead you get a sniper in a helicopter to ruin your day. :)

| In conclusion. This is a very fun heist, until you reach the end which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Take my advice; enjoy the heist as much as you can if you are gonna buy it, but for your own sake, just grab the bare minimum of bags and get the ♥♥♥♥ out of there. You would literally have way more fun spending that time you would've spent trying to get a few extra bags if you instead spent it on other heists... maybe except Goat Simulator. x3
| Don't worry about the loot you're missing out, it ain't worth it. You'd be better of doing Overdrill. I hope this review served you well, have fun doing whatever it is you like to do. I am still going to give it a like, because I don't see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending as a deal breaker. Then again, that is subjective, and you might have a different opinion on this DLC's worth. Adios.

Initial Thoughts
When I first saw the game, it was through its very nice looking points shop items list. I eventually bought the game to farm Steam cards from it. I initially thought lesser of the game and didn't want to play it because it does the thing that other lower quality games do where they have an abundance of achievements which are all meant for decorating one's profile. Point is, I had all the reasons in my head to not give this game a shot for a long time. I was bored one night, so I thought I would give this game a chance.

The Game
The presentation in the game is simple; there are just enough settings to tweak in the options menu, the menus are simple and not flashy at all and the game loads the campaign level for the menu so that you can jump right in if you wanted to. The art style maybe simple but it is its simplicity that gives the game its atmosphere and its identity. The OST is used minimally but very effectively throughout the game to put emphasis on bigger events.
The gameplay consists of platforming, timed platforming and puzzle solving. Failure isn't punished heavily as the player is merely spawned back at their last checkpoint as fast as possible. There are no harsh punishments for failure and the platforming is easy enough that I can confidently call this game a pretty casual experience.
The story of Seen is an emotional one, one that some of you might be able to relate to. You play as a depressed being stuck in a harsh world. The game's main message is about putting up with the negativity around you and trying to overcome your depression, which is easier said than done...

In Conclusion
I don't want to spoil most of the game, so I tried to speak about as little of the content as possible, especially because the game is very short. Seen is a... very... very beautiful game that I wish I had played sooner. It's already very cheap, but if you cannot afford the game at its original value then don't worry because it does go on sale every now and then. The gameplay isn't much impressive but it gets the job done and keeps the player engaged as they traverse the world of Seen.
I hope my review of the game helped you form your own opinion of the game. Have a good one.
