Easily the best puzzle game on steam but if you are retarded (like me) then think twice, because you need a really engorged brain to not get stuck in this game. Besides that, amazing soundtrack, amazing storytelling make this tons of fun.

Easily one of the best games that I have played in recent memory. From the basic mechanics, to the well-crafted story, to the soundtrack, I literally cannot think of one thing that I dislike about this game. This is as close to perfection as it gets. With the cyberpunk aesthetic (actually done correctly unlike a certain other game -_-), perfect wallrunning, it just feels so good to play, and not once did I ever feel like they came short of their obvious goal of making an awesome game. Definitely bound to be my favorite game that I played in 2021, I can't recommend it enough.

A cute little virtual novel-style game. Short and sweet with numerous endings, it is a nice little adventure of a Syrian refugee through the war-torn middle-east, and is meant to mirror the lives and trials of real-life refugees that experienced the very same. I think the modernist way of storytelling flows nicely throughout the game, and overall i really liked the touching story of two star crossed lovers worlds apart.

Wonky physics, an inconsistent checkpoint system, and a severe lack of creativity bring this game down to the level of unenjoyable that I found it at.

First, the shortcomings of the physics system in this game are always present. From randomly sliding off poles, to floating like a balloon across gaps, it often makes no sense why your character moves the way he does. This is only made worse by the awful checkpoint system as mentioned before -- if you die, the game resets you to an arbitrary point that you may or may not have touched while navigating the level, and it doesn't save your progress on collectables at all past the previous checkpoint.

The level design is uninspired, and of all 15 levels, the look of the world is virtually the same, despite allegedly having a differing theme for each level set. Only 2 new mechanics are ever introduced to the game, and the rest of it is just doing the same "slither up/down a pole" gameplay loop for the duration of the game. There is little to zero creativity in most of the levels.

The main character is an annoying moron too.

An inventive and unique puzzle-platformer that has a lot going for it. My favorite thing about it, and the most readily apparent, is the unique mechanic that serves as the basis for the game itself -- you are a small pedestrian sign silhouette that jumps from sign to sign across a large cityscape in order to navigate the levels. It is a new and super interesting take on the genre that I most definitely have not seen before. The way that this game incorporates the environment and everyday objects into its' gameplay is brilliant. At a running length of about 3 hours, featuring an amazing Disney-like soundtrack, buying this game on sale made it feel more than worth it.

Essentially, this would be the perfect game if it was made by any other game studio than Ubisoft Montreal. Time and time again they have proven that they are terrible story writers, and it is often very apparent during the course of most of their games how much they struggle to keep things together. With that said, Watch Dogs 2 is probably the closest they have come yet to making a likable set of characters, and at least a decently interesting plot. The main character Marcus is believable, actually has an incredible amount of depth, and unlike the protagonist from Watch Dogs 1, acts like a real human being. The side characters are fun and have a very good type of role in the story. The ending is satisfying enough and overall the whole shebang gets the job done.

The combat and its' quirks are the worst part of this game by far. Combat in this game is the most weightless, Nerf gun-feeling 3rd person disaster that I have ever played. It is clear to me that whoever designed the audio for the weapons is someone who is afraid of guns -- thus they have never heard what one sounds like, even by looking it up on Youtube or something. However, it is obvious that the game doesn't want you to use guns as the primary way of approaching missions, even though sometimes it seems unavoidable.

The driving is the same weightless mess as the last game, the gadgets/perks are fun and a lot more thought-out than WD1, the enemies are mostly bullet sponge tier 1 - 3. The game has many exciting GTA-style set piece moments that really spice it up.

Overall, it is a slightly above average experience that I would say is worth buying on sale.
