I haven't played much yet, but even ~2 hours into the game, the issue of sense of direction is massive. The game is well made, the art is excellent, the game doesn't lag, and it's intricate in crafting, inventory, and items alike, but there isn't a set objective leaving my other newbie friend and I pretty confused. We did have some people who played before to guide us through the starting phases of the game, but something like a quest book (like in Skyfactory 3, for example) would be ideal. I believe that over time, once you defeat a boss or two, you will get a feel for the game and know what to do generally, but that being said, for unadulterated new players, it seems like a left-click mining simulator. Of course, one could always look for tutorials online, but that takes away from the game's immersive feeling. A quest book simply telling the player to craft a torch or kill a shroom would be enough; nothing detailed, just a sense of guidance, would make this game a must-have as not everyone has two experienced players to tell them what to do.
