Best open world in all of gaming, bar none. No I have not finished it yet

Let me preface this by saying: I love this game. I really do. It's without a doubt my favorite game of all time and in my opinion a masterclass in game design on all fronts.

Which is why it hurts me to write this review. The game has been overrun with hacker bots and at times nigh unplayable, and Valve has done little in the way of addressing this. If you're a new player getting into the game, Casual mode is basically impossible to play.

Luckily, the community has been hard at work hosting servers that are free of bots, but it's unfortunate that it's come to this. If you want a proper TF2 experience, play Uncletopia. Hell, play Skial. How do I think we can #FixTF2? By making more of these servers, because at this point Casual is a lost cause.

The game is very quick to finish, I'm not sure it's worth the $4 price tag.

As for the gameplay, my biggest gripe is that the interesting anomalies are the easiest ones to spot, while the challenging anomalies to spot are the boring ones. This has the unfortunate effect that the game is always either fun OR challenging, never both.

Lots of potential, but I would just watch a playthrough on YouTube if I were you.

Now, let it be clear that this review is mainly regarding GTA Online, since that's all Rockstar cares about anymore anyway. I've mostly played this game on PS4 since 2015, and only relatively recently bought it for PC.

Pros:
- Driving is really fun
- I like dressing up my character
- It's a nice sandbox to mess around in with friends

Cons:
- Missions are tedious at best
- Anything regarding the Social Club UX is just downright awful
- ♥♥♥♥ Shark Cards
- Probably one of the worst online communities I've ever seen in a video game
- Griefers and modders
- The game has completely lost the original GTA identity

As much as I want to play this with friends, I honestly cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone. Grab it if it's on sale or free maybe. Everything I hate about this game is improved upon in Red Dead Redemption 2 but, oh well, Rockstar killed Red Dead Online too.

This game is incredible. One of the only games to have made me cry. Can't recommend it enough. 11/10 i gotta get all those achievements now

The game is really fun to play with friends, but it has some serious balancing issues. The fully automatic weapons have way too much DPS and take very little skill to play.
