Cobalt Core is an excellent rogue-like deck builder that feels refreshing to play. It has a unique twist to typical card combat that is relatively simple but very fun. The card pools for each characters aren't very large at the moment but they make for some engaging decisions and game play. There's also a host of ships and each one vastly changes how combat is approached. This game has a surprising amount of variation given its relatively small card pool. I'd strongly recommend the game for anyone who likes rogue-like/deck builders and would suggest others try it if the game is on sale.

Sseth was right: enemy civilians are in fact active combatants and if you want to win it is integral to eliminate them as soon as possible.
