What a fun little 3D platformer. Had a great time with it. Lots of platforming. In this 3D platformer.

It's a 3D platformer. :)

Early Access Review
My friend and I walked into the living room and he drunkenly began berating the ghost. Our lights started to flicker wildly so I hid in a nearby bedroom as my other friend on walkie in the house said "Oh, Ian!" like he had left the cookie jar open, not like he was currently having the life strangled out of him as he flopped to the floor dead.

Thinking I was safe since he was dead, I walked out of the room and almost fell out of my chair from jumping so hard as the ghost, still visible, walked away from his body. I was sure that I was next on the chopping block. Instead, she waltzed right past me toward the laundry room and disappeared from view, leaving me jaw agape and wide-eyed that I lived.

10/10

P.S. It was not a Shade.

Dungeon of the Endless is a treasure of a game. It's slow and methodical, and yet I always get tense as I go further in and try to escape the depths of the dungeon! There's so much customization in the game, you can build however you want to build and play however you want to play. It's a seamless blend of turn-based strategy, roguelike and tower defense and I haven't found anything quite like it since. It's so engrossing that you forget you have other obligations sometimes! Thus, for the Steam Awards 2016, I nominate this game for the "Just 5 More Minutes" award!

Is this what I want Resident Evil to be? No. It strays too far from being scary and it should try next game to be more of a survival horror title.

That being said, do I like the game? Absolutely, I love it. It's action through and through, but to me it's well-made and offers a great blend of types of action game. There are slower-paced action pieces, high-octane chases, some cover-based gunplay peppered in here and there, and lots of close quarters combat.

People complain that it was a QTE fest, and in some parts of the game I completely agree. There are far too many QTE setpieces that try to build off the intense Leon/Krauser scene from Resident Evil 4. Overall it wasn't too bad, but there were definitely problem spots that need to be excised from the next installment.

In short: Do not expect horror. It is an action game. However, it's a GOOD action game and I recommend it.

Irrational Games once again manages to capture the mind in this thrilling mind-bender of a game. The game is beautifully paced, tailored just to lull you into a false sense of safety before rending it from you at the last second. The story is top-notch, the gameplay is tight and responsive, and Booker and Elizabeth are a duo to fear. Also, gotta love the Luteces. Just as good as the original Bioshock, and I'd expect nothing less.

Left 4 Dead 2 is the type of game that you can always go back to. Bored one day? Play a couple rounds. Feeling daring? Play Versus mode. On top of all the content in base game, the amount of user-created campaigns and skins is astounding and elongates the life of the game even further. I'm not sure I'll ever stop playing this for good.
