Our lights started to flicker wildly so I hid in a nearby bedroom as my other friend on walkie in the house said "Oh, Ian!" like he had left the cookie jar open, not like he was currently having the life strangled out of him as he flopped to the floor dead.

Thinking I was safe since he was dead, I walked out of the room and almost fell out of my chair from jumping so hard as the ghost, still visible, walked away from his body. I was sure that I was next on the chopping block. Instead, she waltzed right past me toward the laundry room and disappeared from view, leaving me jaw agape and wide-eyed that I lived.
