Abelard, extend my highest compliments to the developers!

After 170 hours, I've finally finished Rogue Trader, and I can confidently say it's one of the best games I've ever played. I started the game with only a vague understanding of 40k (mostly just knowing about the Space Marines) and it's been such a great introduction to the universe. The world-building and grim-dark aesthetics are excellent and I found myself really engrossed in the characters and story.

I have to commend how accessible they made the lore. Being able to hover over key terms and events in the dialogue boxes really helped with diving deep into the lore, and there's a TON to explore and immerse yourself in. I'm a big fan now and bought some other 40k games and books.

There are a lot of choices to make and so many of them really impact events down the road. There is a surprising amount of roleplaying and replay value, especially with the various alignments. I played a good guy Iconoclast which was super satisfying to do in this brutal and unforgiving setting. This cast of companions is my favorite among the Owlcat games, and the romance I did was very sweet and endearing. The music is incredible and perfectly captures the feel of the world; I listen to the OST regularly now.

10/10 I highly recommend playing Rogue Trader, even if you're not a big cRPG or 40k fan.

I had a ton of fun with this game and applaud the devs for their ambition. It's janky for sure and has that AA feel but I only ran into a couple of bugs that usually required just a quick load. The world is bleak and dark, feels like FromSoft/Witcher atmosphere and the story always kept me engaged. Fun combat but it does get repetitive if you don't respec and Act 3 is a little of a let down. Still highly recommend to anyone wanting a great Scrolls-like game.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an absolute masterpiece, and I highly recommend it - even if JRPGs/turnbased games aren't your thing. E33 really moved me in ways that very few games ever have. Everything from the story, soundtrack, voice acting, cast of characters, gameplay, and world design are easily among the best I've ever experienced. I'm really proud of 100%ing this game and really wish it was even longer - I genuinely did not want it to end. You can just feel the passion and love that went into this and I have to commend the team, especially since this is their first release as a studio.

I also need to shout out the fact that in today's gaming landscape, this masterpiece is $50 with no micro-transactions, pay to win features, battle pass, or paywalls. It's a full complete game. 10/10 and GOTY!

Early Access Review
I don't really play PvP but in terms of the coop mode, this game has so much potential. Remember the SWAT level from COD that blew everyone's mind? It's like that but a whole entire game with nicely fleshed out mechanics and an emphasis on cooperative, slow team play. Rough around the edges for sure and player count is low, but when you do find a nice group to run the missions with, it is absolutely worth the price of a Taco Bell burrito!
