You get home from work after a long 13 hour shift and go: I am gonna play some killer to unwind. Then you get 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in your game head-oning and flash banging you the entire time while you question every life choice you made that led you up to this point. By the time the match ends you will have decided to end it all.

This will be a "rolling review", as in I will update it throughout the year as I'm a pretty big 2k fan.

Firstly there are some isses with MyCareer, it mostly centers around the difficulty of making shots however. I'm a playmaker/sharpshooter, and yet on wide open shots with good release I seem to miss more oft' than not. in fact that only wide open shots I've made were with green release.

With that being said:
Myleague is better.
I play Myleague the most, as I like to ♥♥♥♥ around with simulations. I think the addition of 2way contracts along with the graph tool's increadibly useful for building your team.

I've only simmed a season, so this will be updated in the future.

The gameplay's better.
Green releases are very hard to get, unless you know the shot (ie curry's) but you can get them even when smothered now.

It's more fluid; you no longer have to worry about getting stuck in animations.

You don't have to aim your shot anymore (I think).

MyTeam's better.. sortof.
The amount of rare players, or even good players you get per box's now significantly limited (ie opened 20 packs but recieved no ruby players). However supermax, and schedule appear to be cool new features. We'll have to see how they progress this.

I don't play MyGM so.

I'd give it a 7.5/10 at the present.
It suffers from crashing, odd shot settings in MyCareer (and only my career. in play now, myleague and myteam the shot settings're fine).

So at 251+ hours in what could I say about this game?
Its Highlights:
- Tactical based gameplay
- Superior Micro wins the day (usually) do not fear the blobbers!
- Multiplayer is competitive and the best I've ever played

Is it p2w?
A lot of people would say yes, I would say no. Whilst I've had elite troops since february my w/l percentage was abysmal till recently (When I stopped using it as much).

Its downfalls:
- Based on RNG hail the 1 shots!
- War spoils could be better but you can still earn most things through it so its better than nothing(?)
- Singleplayer is a waste of time!

I'd recommend it to anybody but it has its issues.

This isn't just a game, this is life! No really, I do not know of what one could dislike about this game. Whilst it does scream "like me" as a game title, you can't help but love it as much as it wants you too. The storyline in Skyrim is amazingly immersive the first time you play through it. While I played through it I felt a since of Urgency to stop Alduin and save Tamerial from him. The only real downside to this game is that there's not really the ability to be an evil character per example, why not rule beside Alduin instead of killing him? Why not kill the greybeards once you've the ability to or kill all the jarl's and declare yourself King of Skyrim? The lack of options in those specific area's are a downside to it. However there's so much content here that you'd be an idiot not to buy it. This game is to me, the definition of perfection easily the best game I've played through and then it gets even better with mods. Case closed this is a 10 out of 10.

There's so much good with this game that there's little to complain about, although even on EASY for a new player.. it is unforgiving. Per example the last game I played I spent hours building an economical dynasty before finally becoming a vassal but due to me completely ignoring how important village relations were in building a new army I got imprisioned not once, not twice but three times before calling it quits.

As a new player to the series, I am however happy to say that this is one of the best games I own and arguably the best game I own on my Steam Library. Which says alot considering I own classics like Far Cry, Skyrim and The Total War Series.

The logistics, combat and character of the game are all amazing. I give this a 9.5/10 if the graphics were better this game would be the masterpiece of any of the games I've played through. Sadly it lacks there.

While Rome: Total War is a masterpiece by all standards. It is clearly lacking in challanges for the factions I most like to play. Due to it being Rome: Total War I prefer to play the Italian factions. However the problem with this is when you don't nerf yourself and play on normal the AI is about as good on the battlefield as a toddler smashing the keyboard would be at this game ... It isn't; this is shown further by ridicules battles you can have... In example facing the greeks I've repeatedly destroyed 500 + Armies whilist only losing 90-100 men. That's asinine really. So while I can't praise it enough for its ambition and how fun the game is so far the game also doesn't present a challange to me - and I am a new comer to the series. Well that's not neccaserily true I played a lot of Medieval. But I am far from an expert so it should be that easy.

In almost every other area the game shines. Squalar is a ridicules problem that never goes away even with the appropiate buildings so that was a ♥♥♥♥ tard move by CA and Sega. Other than those two issues the game is amazingly fun too bad it isn't better in the series main selling point however..
