Intense stealth-action across six mission areas where ammo is limited and you have to choose your moment to act carefully. Assassinate a number of targets and find the exit.

Enemies can be marked, so you need to watch their patrol patterns. The dev didn't mess about here and you might think an enemy only patrols back and forth, only to see them deviate and make a circuit of the map every couple of minutes.

Having no checkpoints is bound to be a turn-off for some, but if you can ride out the trial-and-error it's very rewarding when the "Punishment Complete" screen shows. It feels like every decision counts, particularly when bullets are concerned. Do you shoot out a light source or camera in a corridor, or save your bullet for a guard who's a bit too distant to take out easily?

I love the rich, grubby lo-fi textures and audio design. This is one of a few stealth games where you can hear enemy footsteps clearly. I think the 'story' (or metaphor for a story, maybe?) just passed me by, but I still enjoyed the loneliness of the setting and overall weirdness that permeated the world. Every mission area is visually unique, too.

An easy recommended, as long as you're up for more 'stealth' than 'action'.

A dying breed among the epic stealth players. Hit me up for coop if you will need one day.
