In the same fashion as its predecessor, it is a remarkable and thrilling visual novel with mesmerizing art, rich world-building, and a take on what seems to be the new-weird and magical realism genre.
Even though some audio tracks suffer from distortion for some reason, the soundtrack was really beautiful and evocative. In addition, the voice-over and opening theme took the production value a step forward from their previous work.
The translation did get rough from time to time, but it still continued to be a captivating read, capable of transmitting the chills, suspense, and overall emotions of the story.
