Beautiful visual style is the only good thing this game has, unfortunately. Gameplay is pretty boring and uninspiring, combat system is clunky and only exist here to annoy you, the very same visuals cause poor readability of environment when it comes to platforming and exploration, and the story just makes no sence and feels dull at many moments. It's also very short (around 4 hours), so at least I finished it before it started to feel too annoying.

Another stunning counterpart to Gris. Beautiful game, and even though I don't relate to many themes of the game I still thoroughly enjoyed it. At times I found some of the story and themes harder to pick up on and not very obvious, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyability of the game :)

Man...I really wanted to like this one. The art and the aesthetic are gorgeous. At first glance, the game looks like the kind of 2D jump and slash platformer that I love to play. But the bad outweighs the good.
- There are large and frequent sections of just running in a straight line, admiring the art, with zero gameplay.
- The art style is great as an art style, but not so great at conveying information about a video game. Is that a tree branch in the foreground that you can walk through or a slithering death spike that will stab you? Guess there's one way to find out for sure. Just a tiny bit of visual indication to distinguish threat from scenery, like some slight glowing or pulsing movement or a bit of red or purple color or anything else distinctive, would have been so helpful.
- On a similar note, enemy hitboxes and hurtboxes seem arbitrary. It's impossible to visually distinguish between some body part that won't hurt you if you touch it (say, a leg) and something that will (like maybe a head).
- Dashes and attacks have fairly lengthy animations and can't be cancelled, so combat involves a lot of commitment and does not allow for a lot of reaction.

There's more, but that's enough for me. There are other games out there that feel better to play.
- The entire game (or at least the part that I had patience for) is one big escort mission.
