You cannot play with multiple people from the same IP, eg. whe having a LAN party or simply playing with your roommates. The game will just not register any of your game actions and label them as package loss. Sadly, I noticed this too late and cannot refund anymore.

I recommend this game on the condition that a few features are added. The game itself is really nice and has a good flow to it, basically a destilled 4X game. It's something I really appreceate since other games of that genre tend to be overly big in their systems and subsystems leading to prohibitive time investment needs for new players to understand the game and endless multiplayer sessions nobody really has time for. However, as of writing this, the game lacks content, consindering its price and long term play. This could easily be alleveated by the addition of mod support or the steam workshop. Beside that, small general quality of life improvements are still missing, like a tile counter among other things. Also chat for multiplayer is missing for some reason.

Portal 3

Dark Souls is a litre tasty soup with tasty chunks. Elden Ring is the Dark Souls soup stretched with a litre of water. The chunks are still nice and all, but the broth is a bit degraded. Compare this with Sekiro where they simmered the Dark Souls soup so it was only half a litre. All in all less, but the flavors got much more intense, hence it was more tasty, though maybe to spicy for some. Elden Ring is the least spicy and falls short in a few things compared to the other games. Nonetheless it is a fine game, though note that the quality steadily drops with player progress.

Pretty ruthless and unforgiving, but it is a real joy if you can stomach the learning curve and looming of death that comes to us all eventually.

Cherry on top the masterpiece that is the base game. Again: Avoid spoilers at all costs, even if you are stuck. More importantly: Push through your fear! Overcoming it is integral part of the message and game experience.

Don't spoil yourself, just play it. Creepy, but no horror game.
Though before you buy you should know a few things:
The game lasts only 10-15 hours, which compared with the pricetag might be too much for you.
The game changes in visual style quite a bit and minimally gameplay wise after the first part. The promo material only showcases this first part which is by far the best in my opinion. This realization also leaves a pretty sour taste behind, as the promo seems quite misleading that way. Problem is the game's "true" intended strengths do not work without this little lie.

Game design wise a dumpster fire. Pay to win, way too much grinding and only one ♥♥♥♥ game mode (per vehicle type) with ♥♥♥♥ maps. Most other stuff, like graphics/implementation real vehicles/aircraft behaviour etc. is good or stellar though. The balance between realism and playability is unique.
