Great Game!

Good gameplay and graphics, interesting story and lore (though I still have no idea what's actually going on).

I loved the game, the puzzles are interesting, especially the new puzzle elements that got added. The characters and voice acting is also great. I can also recommend playing through the game again with the developer commentary enabled, there are some interesting bits of information about how this mod was made.

This is a soft recommendation, the games is technically very outdated, and it got boring after a while. There isn't too much story or lore to discover either. If you liked Fallout 1 & 2, this game is an interesting look at how the combat can be evolved,. Especially interesting are the change to have an entire squat to control, and the setting to switch between turn-based and continuous combat.

Some technical issues & fixes:
- You need to limit the games framerate, otherwise you won't be able to move on the overworld due to excessive random encounters (rate is based on the framerate).
- I had to run the game in windowed mode, otherwise the framerate limit was ignored.
- The game also doesn't scale well to large resolutions, maybe you need to lower your display's resolution.

Great game (if on sale), at least for playing it Coop. It's nice to have someone else with you to make fun of all the weird game design, lore, dialog, etc. (Yes bullet impacts at long distances are not where the bullet visually landed, and backup servers are totally known for having weaker encryption than the main server :D ).
Gameplay is good, lots of different weapons to find, and you also get a lot of customization options for the gameplay (e.g., for game difficulty).
Ubisoft servers are what they always are, so you will likely disconnect randomly from time to time, or get stuck in the floor, but it's not too bad.
The user interface is a bit annoying to use, it has stuff hidden in submenus sometimes, it feels a bit slow, and worst of all, you can't buy/sell items quickly. The shop it mostly designed as hold-button-for-a-second-to-do-something (good luck refilling your healing items quickly).

Great Game! I can recommend playing it, especially to see where the modern Fallout games came from.
There are a bunch of gameplay improvements over Fallout 1 (being able to push NPCs blocking you away and marking friendly NPCs differently from enemies were some great changes). Some gameplay things are badly communicated sometimes, e.g., where/how you can use your skills/items is often not very clear, so you may need to look up solutions to certain problems.
Graphics obviously aged a lot, and it is a bit unstable on modern systems (but I guess so are modern games too), so maybe check if any mods can help you with the stability if you have issues.

Great Game, but definitely getting a bit old. A lot was learned about game design since then, especially about UI design, which feels quite slow and hard to use (e.g., stuff like a take all button for items, or the 'move backwards' button for your companions from Fallout 2, so they can't trap you in a room anymore like they do in this game).
If you want to play it, I suggest looking for mods to improve the experience, such as high resolution support.

Quite good game, but maybe wait for it to be on sale to get it. If you've played Sniper Elite 4, you'll probably like this one too. Watch out, some missions (and their achievements) are locked behind DLC.

Great expansion to the base game, there is a lot of content packed into the new district added in the expansion, and the characters and story is very good.

It's free content, so I can't not recommend it!
