so sad to see the trajectory of this game since release. season 2 is a complete ♥♥♥♥ show, everyone does too much damage, everyone has too much wall carry, characters feel more similar than ever as their weaknesses keep getting patched out. the devs have outwardly stated this is the direction they want the game to go in; aggression and heat. the devs have a fundamental misunderstanding that depth, execution and difficulty are the reasons that tekken wasnt more popular, this isnt the case. fighting games are a more niche genre not because of how hard they are, but because of how hard they are to get into. if the devs spent more resources on creating a truly great practice mode that doesn't have arbitrary limitations (move limit why?) and had a properly good training mode that explains key concepts like KBD and offers a training regiment to do them would go a long way. there isn't going to be a community for new gen players to join at this rate. make a good game, listen to the community and the player numbers will follow. if this game is ever fixed i'll change my review.
