Forza Horizon 4, a female perspective: is it worth a buy?

What kind of masterpieces can we expect from a racing game?
Racing games, a kind of absolute noble born in the gaming industry similar to gun games and ball games.

Is the speed the only thing that matters in the racing game?
Wake up, a really good racing game should fulfill the need of the racer’s desires and strive to simulate the perfect driving experience as well as provide a stepping stone for a new comers and amateurs into the scene

Forza Horizon 4 is a gorgeous visual spectacle. It is varied, challenging, and fast paced

In other words, it’s got everything you want in a racing game, a worthy purchase!

Frankly speaking , racing game is not always my type of game

There been a serious lack of games over these months, so I took plunge and purchased Forza Horizon 4 that was released on Steam this March 2021

I initially got the base game. However, the game was way better than my expectation so I got LEGO DLC and Fortune Island DLC
Till the video review published, I have contributed more than 100 hours to this game

Besides racing and ranking, let us look at what else is featured in the game.

Most players talk about handling, car brand,tire grip when turning corners, how to drift and so- called skills.Most players are concerned about how to rank first in a race

But for me, I do kowtow to ranks and not plagued by grey hairs worrying about my skill

Despite coming last, I still have a huge shxt eating grin as I’ve already known the most enjoyable part in the game.

The prologue of Forza Horizon 4 is a 6-7 hour tutorial, an introductory chapter of the titleshowcasing all four seasons with four driving scenarios and leading to the rules of racing, along with describing the controls to the player.

After the prologue, the season in game will change overnight on Thursdays.Apart from season changes in the game, we’d have a day and night as well. We can also experience weather changes, such as rain, snowstorm or blizzard.The whole car feels so different depending on the changing in environment

The feeling will also be influenced by the puddles, mud and snow on the road.You can feel more immersed if first-person view is enabled

Further to this, I am using XBOX Series gaming controller playing this game. Linear acceleration/braking and road terrain provides differing haptic feedback on the controller, improving the immersion of the driving experience

It’s hard to imagine that a game that dropped in late 2018can still lead in graphic visuals.

On the game’s visuals, we can see real world details on the car sceneries, ground and distanced views from far away can show definitive details in the game.

You don’t have to drive that fast okay?The scenery deserves you to step on the brake and enjoy the view.

Open world, finding fortunes, It looks stunning, and it makes the game feel lively and expensive.

Yes, it is the Legend of Zelda in Car and Red Dead Redemption on the Street

Regardless of the graphics, the sound design in this game can highlight the art of sound for AAA standard.
when the engine starts, I feel so elated and pumped because of the pur of the engine

When you are in game, your role is diverse.

Remember that you are not only a racer but also a car modding architect

There is a helpful community online. Newbies can study from experienced players

It’s okay if you don't know how to mod your car. You can just download the mod templates for free

This game has a high level of driving simulation. Meanwhile, you are a car artist

This game has an insane level of customization. Players can download customisation for free from online community to find a style that suits you the best

This game has character customization. That’s because it has a living online world

All costumes are not limited to any particular genders.. if you have particular interests

The customisation function is quite satisfying regardless of the number of costumes. The online community is friendly and treats
it’s players really well no matter the skill level of that player. The player can dive deeper in the customisation part in the game and upload their work for others to download and install. You can earn likes and support to be reputed and popular with your work. This is similar to the real life

According to people’s stereotype with female drivers. Racing? No, not because I am not competitive but because I am enjoying the landscape. This mindset is different and not quite equivalent to testosterone fueled competitor’s goal focused on the finish line.

Oh yeah, I feel so good after playing over 100 hours in Forza Horizon 4

You should buy it and it is worth buying

if you really want me to voice my complaints about the game, the unstable server connection is a big issue and long matchmaking. Overall, this game can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone no matter their interests in cars
