I bought this game mainly for nostalgic reasons. I loved the first and second HOTD and when I heard there was a remake, I was quite excited. Boy, was I fūcking wrong.

- The game basically has a goddámn aneurysm trying to start. It stutters, lags, freezes and on occasion; crashes.

- There's typos everywhere, from the tips in-game to the achievements. Did no one reread anything before pushing this out?

- Since when do headshots not matter in a zombie game? Not to mention that zombies with no heads can still attack you. Makes perfect sense to me.

- Shooting zombies is inconsistent as fūck. One moment you can insta-kill a zombie, but when you run into another one (the same type of zombie), it all of a sudden becomes a bulletsponge.

- Bosses are way too goddámn easy. Just spam left and right click and you can't lose.

- The only enjoyment factor I get is seeing zombies get flung all over the place when I shoot them. Pretty sad when that's the only good part in your game.

They literally just butchered the living fūck outta this game. Just don't be an idiot like me and buy this. You're better off just downloading the original from some abandonware site and playing that.

99.9% of the people on here lack any sense of humor and will block or mute you if you're not some skank with a thousand dollar VR Headset. It's just pure cringe all around.

The little enjoyment I get is when some edge lord and his e-girl girlfriend get angry at me for spamming Scout voicelines.

This game is pretty fücking bad, but hey; at least they got Jan Rabson to reprise his role as Larry Laffer.

That's....something I suppose.

You know your game is good when a bar of soap is stronger than a shotgun blast.

It also insta-gibs which is just *mwah* bootiful.

As boring as a real gay wedding.

I don't know how they accomplished it, but the story for this DLC is even worse than the vanilla game.

If you like blowing 15 bucks on a DLC that has a boring plot, an equally boring villain, annoying characters, and dialogue so cringy that you want to give yourself a shotgun mouthwash, go for it.

Just get the Handsome Jackpot DLC instead. It's 100 times better.

The game is quite fun, even though the concept has been done to death.

The only issue I have is that the community can be really toxic. There's never really a game without one of your teammates insulting you because you missed a heal or didn't flank properly. There's literally no mercy for newbies in Casual, you will be bashed harshly.

Unless you like being lectured by some toxic random, I suggest you party up with friends. Saves the headache.

I've wasted my valuable time and money on this game.

But it was totally worth it since it's a timeless classic and will always hold a special place in my heart.

10/10 would empty wallet again.
