Its honestly a good game. however, im forgetful, and micromanaging the fire is a pain in the ass. im not reloading an entire day because i forgot to put another log on the fire, whats worse, is there is no way to craft kindling, or use one of the two actions per day to have a character sit with a Bow drill and friction restart the fire.
i mean hell, as soon as you hit end day, and sit around the fire to eat, there is no option to add more wood, when youve got 20 logs stockpiled, somebody should automaticly keep the fire tended.

and the fire going out is practically a game ending accident as you cannot drink untreated water at risk of sickness.

Im sort of surprised, Before i bought the game, i loved the idea of it. when i started I loved it. But the further the campaign dragged on... Pushed through to the final mission and just. For the last couple of sessions ive just wanted to uninstall it.

now that im done. Im just, relieved. and happy to file it away and never touch it again
which is an absolute shame, the game has ALOT of new ideas. and wants to innovate, and i love to see that.
I adore xcom and keep coming back to it regularly.
I think there are alot of rough edges that could be polished in a sequel which i hope is in the cards.
for the regular, i recommend Xcom instead, only leave this if you absolutely adore the genre and want something fresh even if rough.

Im sorry developers. I want to see you succeed, i want to see Better. Im hopeful. there is potential.

An incredibly Artful game. Short, But meaningful.
Highly recommend. its narrative is gripping, the dialogue satisfying, and the landscapes are gorgeous.
