Throne and Liberty promised an exciting new MMO experience and after hitting 100 hours dumped into the game this is how I'm feeling. With that being said, I believe Throne and Liberty has been a lot of fun. I'm going to try and separate this into three sections. Good, bad, personal opinions.

**THE GOOD**
Exploring -- The world feels good to start as you do have exploration goals to find hidden around new areas. These are mostly through hidden lore books, which you are rewards for finding.

Combat -- Combat feels good and responsive (so long as your ping is aight), you have flexibility with your skill choices and skill specializations to create unique builds custom to your play-style. There are no set hard set 'classes' in T&L, the game will auto assign you a 'class' based off of whatever weapons you choice to play. Personally I've been playing Dagger/Staff (Spellblade) my entire play-through. I'm in an attempt to have at least two different play-styles to pick from. A PvE focus and a Boss Focus kit.

Movement -- Movement in T&L feels great!

**THE BAD**
Grapples -- One of my biggest 'icks' with this game is the grapple mechanic. When it works, it's fine. When it doesn't work....it's a pain. Especially when grapple mechanics are required within dungeon fights. There are some instances where if you miss a grapple it's almost a guaranteed team wipe. Besides grapples, movement is great.

P2W* -- There is a lot of talk about P2W in this game, which I'd definitely put a grain of salt on. There is no option in this game to sell/trade items to other players without using lucent (T&L paid currency). There are ways to make lucent as a F2P player, it is a bit tedious. I have yet to make a single lucent transaction, but I am getting close to putting items on the market.

**Personal Opinions**
No hand holding -- This game barely holds your hand at all once you hit max level. There are a lot of questions that you either figure out yourself by doing or on accident. The other main way you learn is by researching everything. Tips/tricks on YouTube, reddit, etc... Pretty much in every single Co-op dungeon you NEED to know the mechanics to fight a boss (Which it doesn't tell you anything about!). If you die, be ready for someone (probably) to point a finger at you because you don't know what you're doing.

Forced PVP - There are a lot of TIMED, set-in-stone PVP events throughout T&L. These could be open events, world bosses, etc... If you are NOT a PVP forward player you unfortunately will despise this greatly (Just as I do). PVP is great for a time and play, I personally don't feel the game should force you take part in a PVP world boss, when you just want to relax to take on the boss in PVE with a giant hoard of other players. IMO the devs should include within their pre-world boss portals the option to enter a PVP boss or PVE boss. Let the players choose which they want to take part in.

Private Dungeons/Open Dungeon Tokens -- In order to collect loot from these areas you need to have enough tokens to participate. You receive co-op dungeon tokens daily and you can gain open world dungeon tokens through contract merchants. It's not 'bad', but if say you had 10 hours to dump into a game session and you wanted to farm a boss over and over and over again. You wouldn't be able to. You'd be forced to go do something else.

Guilds -- Guilds play a huge part of the game, you gain access to dungeon boss raids, bonus attributes, and more. There are some guilds that choose to lock down and shutout players from entering PVP enters due to being super organized and let's just call them...the server whales. This may be biased, but there have been plenty of PVP events I've entered where a singular guild prevented all random players from even participating in fighting a PVP Boss.

Community -- I have more of a likeness than a love/hate relationship to the community. Most players are friendly and willing to help out when you need assistance. However, there are plenty of dramatic & quickly toxic players. When it comes to messing up in a dungeon. Players often place blame or instantly rage quit. I've seen players actively trash talk guilds for being PVP griefers in PVP events.

Party Focused -- To each their own, some players enjoy an MMO where they can go and do everything solo if they want to. This is NOT one of those games. If you want to progress and have a good time. You need a party. Six to a party is ideal at all times for co-op/open dungeons. You definitely need 3-4 to manage in more difficult areas for decent loot.

My overall rating -- 6.5/10

There game is fairly new even with the early Korea release. It's fun in its own right. However I don't know if the hype feeling will last forever with this game.

Pretty fun to jump in and have some fun coming from someone who's never played a Halo game before.

- Don't bother checking the Leaderboards at the end of the match, they're pointless and basically broken.
- They also need to add the ability to be in a squad with your friends, the game will currently place you in any random squad with other randoms

Servers are being worked on steadily to handle player demand. Hold out for future patches and updates. New World so far has been a great experience. Don't feed in to the mixed reviews.
