I bought this game at launch but then shelved it waiting for updates and patches. Then I got distracted playing other games and just started this about a month ago. Absolutely spectacular game! Best I've played in quite a while!

Simply one of, if not the, best survival games out there. I pre-ordered this on PS4 back in the day and went a whole year without playing it until the updates started dropping. Now I own this on every available platform including Steam. This game is incredible, relaxing, beautiful and fun. The Worlds Part 1 update has taken it to a whole new level. Hats off to Sean Murray and his team for an amazing accomplishment.

It's Mass Effect, but prettier than before. Which is awesome.

I haven't logged a lot of time yet on Stardew Valley mainly because I have to fight with my 7 and 9 year old girls that also want to play. They are completely in love with this game, and I share their enthusiasm. What a wonderfully rare accomplishment to create something so universally enjoyable. I am normally put off by games that use an old-school 16-bit esthetic (despite being 41 and growing up in the NES/Genesis age) but this game has so much charm that I don't even notice. Simply put, this game is addictive, fun, beautiful, accessible and you need to stop reading reviews and just buy it right now.

I had never played a game by Paradox before, but after playing Crusader Kings 2 it is safe to say I'll be trying them all now. I picked this up on sale along with Europa Universalis IV and Hearts Of Iron III and I'm excited to play them all after becoming completely absorbed in this simply brilliant grand strategy game. I've played every other strategy title available and have been a fan of the genre since trying the first Civilization as a lad. This might be the most engrossing (albeit not the flashiest) of them all! Bravo Paradox for a simply remarkable experience.

I just lost 7 hours of my life playing this game... and if I wasn't so tired I'd be diving back in to lose 7 more! Very very solid game. Love the combat and the interface is brilliantly designed, keeping all of my important info easy to access and understand. In short, I find this game a ton of fun, which is what I look for in any game! My only gripe is the lack of keyboard shortcuts for all the main game functions. Otherwise, this purchase is a no-brainer. Well done.

Initial impressions: So... much... fun. Hilarious, but surprisingly deep and engaging. Just starting out I can tell there will be considerable depth to the character customization (I have a badass Klingon beard for my level 2 mage), items, weapons and abilities. And the story is pure gold so far. I haven't laughed this much playing a video game since Sierra's heyday. Bravo Obsidian. I'm off to play more!
