Its a good one

This game isn't for everyone, maybe not even for most, but if you like building grand things it will knock your socks off.

Like the other reviews say, this game is amazing - haven't played something like it before. Don't look up spoilers. Playing and learning on your own will be a rewarding experience.

Amazing game

Fun concept, great game. Beat it on normal and hard after 7 hours and not much additional replay value, but it was a great 7 hours. The number one request is to allow player-drive workshop content. This would open the game up hugely to replayability.

Very fun, well polished. A little short, but highly recommend. They need to open the level editor to the public!

Amazing game with an equally amazing commuinty behind it. Every colony I make comes with emotional highs and lows as it grows and is beset with almost inevitiable disaster. This game can be as easy or difficult as you want it to be with the story driven AI creating events for you along the way. I regularly see Tynan (the game's developer) in the rimworld subreddit commenting on posts so he is in tune with what the community wants to see from the game. The Overwelmingly Positive rating on steam is well deserved.
