Now, after spending 100 hours in game and being hit by falling trees countless times, I feel it is only fair to share my thoughts on Medieval Dynasty.

I got absolutely hooked from the start. Played non-stop for hours on end and still see myself putting many more hours into the game.
So far, I have only played the story mode, but plans are there to switch to the other mode in the foreseeable future.
I have finished the main story of the game and still have stuff to unlock and a village to grow and decorate.

The 3-day system makes perfect sense. At the beginning, it might feel too quick, but when you consider how long crops need to grow, villagers aging, being pregnant and unable to work for a longer time, it is necessary that the time doesn't go by too slowly.
A huge plus point is that you can change the length of the season during your ongoing game for the next season to come.
So, in case you want to enjoy a season longer, the option is available.

You start small, having to choose where to build, who to recruit, and how to make money.
Slowly, you build a community of dedicated workers who spice up your day with well-known meme quotes.
I enjoyed listening to the local villagers a lot and often stopped by to see what they were talking about.

Assigning tasks to your villagers and managing the entire production of your settlement is necessary, as you don't want to be stuck doing everything by yourself. Eventually, you have a fully running village in which you don't have to do anything, aside from quests and paying your taxes.

I could go on, but I'd rather recommend the game wholeheartedly to everyone who likes to play in a medieval setting.
