A bit of a steep learning curve but after you get it you'll get loads of hours out of it. I've never had a game make hours go by so fast.

I was born to an eve, as her first child. I was born a female and my mother named me Isaiah. Being the first child is an important task because while your mother is tending to all of your younger siblings it's your job to start the civilization up while your siblings do everything else. My mother stayed in the jungle eating bananas and feeding babies, as I set off to set up camp. I started by making a kiln and creating fire for pottery and farming. It was around the time I finished that that my mom died of starvation, as did a lot of her 7 children. The only surviving children were me, and my two younger brothers. I was the only girl and everything depended on me. I told my brothers they needed to get the farm running while I stayed in the jungle tending to babies. During one of my quick runs back to the camp, I discovered both of my brothers, and all of my babies except one of my daughters, Julia had died. The only ones alive were me and Julia. I returned to the Jungle for the last time and had one more baby. A boy, named Fred. Fred and I returned to the camp to Julia who was working on the farm. It seemed like Julia knew what she was doing and quickly expanded the farm and directed her younger brother on what to do to help as he appeared to be new. I helped with the farm as much as I could as I grew older. I grew too old too fast, but I was hopeful Julia could continue the civilization. It eventually got to the point to where I couldn't go get water for the crops without nearly dying, but I wasn't going to give up that easily. I continued to help the farm, knowing that it would all be worth it and every bowl of water could save another child of the next generation. I grew even older and Julia thanked me, but said I needed to stop. She was right, I would've starved on a mere journey for water. Julia had had several children by then and they were bustling all over the place tending to things. I sat in the farm slowly growing older until I walked up to Julia and let her know how much I love her and how proud of her I was. The last words from my mouth were to Julia, saying, "I wish I could be here to see this civilization thrive." Nearly a second after those words left my mouth, I collapsed and the world faded away.

If you're thinking about getting this game, get it. At first all of the crafting and how fast everything moves will probably be a little overwhelming, but reading a few guides and watching a few youtube videos won't hurt. Some lives will be really boring where you're just maintaing an advanced village, but some give you the most fulfilling feeling at the end, and it's worth $20.

fun game. more fun with friends. but fun nonetheless. ive never actually played with friends i just assume itd be more fun

10/10 would decapitate arm and replace with hook before euthanizing and forcing my colonists to eat the body until i get attack by a rabbid squirrel that kills my entire colony.
