This is my new favorite game, and could be one of the greatest games EVER made. And I've played some masterpieces like Celeste, Rain World, Stardew Valley, Terraria, Undertale, Subnautica, Factorio, and Minecraft. This is better than all of them (and I have 1,000+ hours on most of those games). From the music to the art to the game feel to the secrets to the world building to the boss design. It's all absolutely incredible. I couldn't possibly sing this game any higher praise.

Looking at this game from Team Cherry's point of view is even more incredible. How do you sit down after releasing the masterpiece that is Hollow Knight, and then STILL come up with genius ideas and incredible artistic flairs and then make the game like 1.5x bigger?! It's absolutely insane, I can tell they spent 7 years on this.

And as for the difficulty complaints, guess what? THEY'RE ALREADY FIXING THEM. That's right, this incredible game has developers who are open to changes that better the experience for everyone, and are rolling them out within a week of launch. It's great.

Another thing I want to mention: The sheer amount of content. I beat the game (I'm unsure if there are multiple endings or not), and after 26 hours of playing, and so much backtracking and conscious exploration, I rolled credits with only 20/52 ACHIEVEMENTS. That is absolutely insane to me.

This game represents everything great about games, and what true passion looks like. I could not recommend buying this product more. Even an hour of this game is worth its price. I mean 20 bucks is like a meal at a restaurant for a single evening. Now turn that 20 bucks into the greatest piece of interactive media ever made, incredible artistic talent, hundreds of hours of content and future free DLC, there is no reason not to buy.

It's an awesome game with a really cool concept! In some parts it's a little rough around the edges, and it could use some graphical overhaul, but some of it adds charm and it's not that big of a deal. It's got good progression, a nice soundtrack, a story, and even late game automation for my factorio homies out there.
