I absolutely loved rhythm heaven when I was younger. Rhythm Doctor strikes that same vein, but in a much more interesting and fun light. Oh, and the MUSIC, can't forget that! As well, this game's modding community is absolutely insane, to the point that someone actually made a fully-functional replica of the first FNAF game.

i cant believe that the chess devs finally decided to update the game after 1500 years

Worth much more than its pricetag.

I'm 100% positive that its not a performance issue. The game has an issue where it constantly freezes when in the middle of songs, and will completely ruin any note streak that you had before the lag spike. Weirdly enough, this happens more in single-player than it does in multiplayer.

I would gladly change my review if the devs were able to fix this issue, but I've tried almost everything at this point. It's a shame because I actually really enjoy this game, but it's just not worth it.

Also, add a taiko mode :)

This game is really buggy as of now. Would recommend, but see the cons below to see what you can expect when not playing with a friend.

Pros:
Great with friends.
Simple but complex game.
Upgrades are fun to mess around with, especially when thinking critically to how each effect can change your playstyle.

Cons:
If playing with a random player, there's a 50% chance they'll disconnect by client timeout.
Puts priority in the orange player's bullets. Tested this with a friend using an online timer, and the results showed that the orange player's bullets always had priority when killing.
Highly likely to have both players as orange players, messing up the upgrades.
Frequently skips the blue player's upgrade screen when playing in quickplay.
Custom avatar skins can be abused to crash or freeze the opposing player's game.
Most of the more complex abilities, such as demon's pact, sometimes never activate their ability during play.
Some bullets, although never visually touching or hitting the player. will count as a hit/kill, most likely due to how the game is networked, and how the game interprets where the player is located on the opponent's screen.
And lastly, a lot of cards or card combinations are stupidly overpowered. (Although, it did lead to some funny moments, so maybe this isn't a con.)

Final verdict? It's a great game, but I hope that these bugs can be fixed soon.

Silly, but fun! While singleplayer is fun, I've had my best moments in multiplayer with friends.
