The co-op is really fun. but I wouldn't have played it single player, the gameplay is a bit boring imo. Attacking military bases was pretty cool though, especially as the difficulty got really hard. You can't just go in all guns blazing, and you needed to scope out the area with drones beforehand. I think I got about 100 hours out of it which is good. Plus the weapon progression and mods were well done, it was nice slowly getting better and better weapons.

So yeah while I don't think it's a great game in itself, the coop was really fun.

I was kind of expecting something different with the story, like it could have been fleshed out more. It felt more like a demo rather than a full game. I got it on sale for 5 bucks, and it's worth it for that. BUT YEAH they really should have extended the story so we at least got 10-15 hours of gameplay. Plus you can watch the whole game on youtube, and since you don't have too many choices it's not like you will miss out on much.

Quite a hilarious game on multiplayer. I'd play it more if there were a few more maps.

Personally I didn't like it, the movement felt really clunky and stiff as opposed to other FPS games, but everyone else is giving it a good review and I don't want to rock the boat so I give it 7/10 detached limbs

I only play on Coop mode because while I am fantastic, I'm not fantastic enough to verse real people.

1. The AI is way better than on Insurgency. Insurgencys insurgents are so idiotic even when they are on hard... while the nazis/allies on Day of Infamy are intelligent and fun to kill.

2. When you start cooking people with a flamethrower the screams are harrowing. But on Insurgency, when you throw molotovs and incendaries at the stupid zombie terrorists, they just walk through it with a brief "Ow", as if they are stepping on legos.

3. Voice acting is very immersive. It's been helping my german as well. I finally know how to say "grenade out" and "open fire" , which is very helpful when I want my german friends to leave my house.


Cons, I guess, they aren't that bad

1. The servers take ages to load for me, very frustrating. If you win one round then you don't keep playing, you have to vote for another map, which then takes ages to load again. My computer isn't that bad, I don't know what the specs for it are but it has pretty blue lights.

2. I hate the stupid airstrikes

TL:DR

Day of Infamy is an improved World War 2 version of Insurgency.

Not interested in the story, Timmy can suck it, and the cannibals are really just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I only play this for the building and teamwork.

It's one of the few survival games (that i've played) where people don't kill you all the time, but actually help you survive and build.

There isn't a hell of a lot to do, so I get bored and don't touch the game for a few months occasionally. If I had a friend I would recommend this game to him.

Yeah from what I've seen it's pretty good. I stopped playing because my damn schoolwork got in the way, and also it got too hard on some level so I gave up.

But once I stop being lazy and leave school, I will push my self hard to finish this game because the story is fantastic.

So...For the 3 hours I've played, I give this game 8/10 Dead American Soldiers

Yeah it's pretty good. The driving is the most fun part imo. I have yet to find a game that makes driving feel as good as Mafia 2. Once I finished the story there wasn't much to do, so for most of my 270 hours I went driving. That part where you go to prison is a bit boring, since you can't run and all you do is beat people up. You also can't drive in prison.

If you like Counterstrike-Source then you will probably like this.
