Early Access Review
Update: The dev really does listen to community feedback and has made various changes to the game and as such my review no longer reflects the current state of the game. I've removed parts that have been updated and have set my review to yes I'd recommend it. I'll update this review once again once I get back into the game.

Been keeping my eye on the game for a hot minute since it came out and I'll be giving it another go here shortly.

* Quests just straight up need more information in the quest log. I'd still like to see more information in quests.

* Inventory space. Can we get a setting for this?

* Make mobs not respawn half way through a dungeon. May be add a dungeon reset button? I found myself very annoyed at working my way to a boss only to have to re-kill everything to get back the way I came. This also makes exploration a bit more *Get turned around here.*

* Combat needs a huge improvement as I can hardly tell what's clearly going on half the time. If I right click a mob I expect to start auto attacking it, not having to press a hotkey to turn auto attacking on and off. If it's a friendly NPC I expect to not be able to attack it.

Bought the Harrier GR.1, Harrier GR.1 Got bumped up to 10.0, literally almost useless now that it has to deal with supersonic jets 100% of the time, gaijin give me my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back. The only premium I've ever gotten and gotten mad over, thanks.

Edit: It's like chasing a sports car down with a moped, it feels awful.

If you're gonna buy this game, go buy the first one instead, it's hella better, just saying.

This game for me was actually quite fun, despite it being fairly short, and the fact that this is only part one of what was supposed to be a 3 part series, but never made it past this.

Now, yes I recommend the game, however there's a few things you should probably keep in mind before judging this review.

1. This game does not have a complete ending, nor will it ever as far as I can tell.
2. It's story isn't something memorable.

Why would I recommend this game? It's actually not a bad game, it's just not complete, and that's what killed it, I ran into very few bugs/glitches while playing this game, which shows me they at least took the time to polish it out a little, regardless of where it ended.

Take this game as you wish, it was fun while it lasted, but it's too bad we'll never know the ending to the story, oh well! Anyways, again, would recommend you buy this game under the circumstances listed above, well at least if you just don't care about them that is.

So I'm just going to get directly into pros and cons...

Pros:
1. Is a classic.
2. Has amazing gameplay, this game actually requires you to think rather than rush in although the rush tactic does work in some cases, however you'll find yourself screwed most of the time.
3. Has a really good unit roster.
4. Unit types are actually quite balanced. This is extremely rare in most games, as usually one unit wins you games, however this game does a great job at making you use a mix of different types of units to get the job done, and does a really good job at giving you multiple different options, and approaches to tackling a situation.
5. Is better than company of heroes. Yes I said it, the graphics might not be, but the gameplay is, by a mile.
6. Is not one sided! While each country has their strengths and weaknesses, there is no one country that has an advantage over another, it's all dependent on how you use them.

Cons:
1. Outdated graphics. Ya, it's an old game, it's graphics are not the best, but if you play games for graphics, I refuse to call you a gamer.
2. A kinda annoying AI. The unit pathfinding, and general AI are a little bit buggy, but that can't be helped, it is quite an old game, you usually only notice this when massing units, or trying to make tanks go through heavy object areas.
3. A kinda dead multiplayer. Yes it's unfortunate, but it's an old game, can't expect any people to still be playing it, and as far as I'm aware it currently doesn't even have a multiplayer server, could be wrong, haven't checked steam MP yet.

Side Notes:
1. I have way more than 4.7 hours in this game, as I still have my disk copy, just recently picked this up on steam, totally worth.
2. Playing the campaign on very hard will make you cut yourself :D
3. The singeplayer is more than worth the 4.99 for the game, lol if only it's multiplayer wasn't so dead.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game the first time through, doesn't have much replayability though, and due to the overly dead multiplayer, the only reason to pick it up is the single player, which in my opinion is still worth a try.

Pros:
1. Great destruction system, it's not really realistic, and can sometimes be infuriating, but none the less, it's still fun.
2. It has a good amount of single player content, which kind of makes up for its very much so dead multiplayer, campaign is fun the first time through as I stated earlier, but other than that, kinda loses its touch.
3. Booms, Rams, and mechs. If you enjoy any of those, buy this game.

Cons:
1. Dead multiplayer.
2. No replayability.

This is not really a con, however if you can't drive in a PC game without a controler, then well you're bad at games, and should go back to console, anyways point is, there's no controller support as far as I'm aware. This means you have to use a keyboard to drive, which is easy anyways.... Like for real.

On a side note, the story isn't all that engaging, but it's still interesting none the less.
