Would be a decent alternative to KTANE if it wasn't horribly optimised and had manuals that didn't give incorrect answers.

Hollow Knight was a difficult metroidvania. Silksong is a souls-like. Know that before going in or you will have a miserable time. If you aren't sure, you should try Hollow Knight first.

That being said, this game was absolutely worth the wait. Bosses, art, music, story, world exploration, you name it, it's great.

Very solid puzzle game with a fun aesthetic and gimmick. It isn't very long, so I would maybe wait for a sale before buying. Either way, if you're interested in this you should try the free demo/prequel as well.

"Keeping your hands clean" is the dumbest achievement I've ever seen.

Welcome back, Club Penguin!

An extremely simple game with just enough complexity to keep you from getting bored, but mindless enough to allow you to socialise with other players. The art style, music, and the sense of humour are charming and create a laid-back friendly atmosphere. I'm writing as of patch 1.10, and hope that future versions will introduce some more things to do, as I've already experienced just about all this game has to offer already.

Re-writing this review now that I've played the expansion.

This was the first game to show me that games can be more than games.

The physics are satisfying, the art is endearing, the soundtrack is genuinely my favourite video game soundtrack EVER, and the story and writing has made this into the game that I have thought about the most after playing it.

I first played it shortly after it came out. It moved me, but at the time I couldn't understand why.

Over a decade passed. This game still moves me deeply, and I still feel like I'm only beginning to understand why,

I can't praise this game enough. Thank you, Tomorrow Corporation. The future is, indeed, Tomorrow.

This game almost ruined my life. Would recommend, but only once.

Fun and addictive, better with friends. Just an all-around well made game.
