Great Game

FREE DEMO REVIEW:
Once i solved the initial loading error, I managed to get in and smash through the demo in ~7 hours. At first I was a little overwhelmed, as there is a lot to take in at once, but after 2-3 matches the mechanics made sense. The progression seems to happen at a nice pace, but I played on "normal" difficulty, so I'm not sure how that affects the game. I enjoyed my time. A very good early version of the game, with interesting mechanics so I can't wait to see what the future holds.

The character interactions are nice at first, but the same lines start to get repeated. I would really like more dialogue to make it a more immersive experience. Very good character designs which also are very inclusive, so that's also a plus.

If you like card games, autobattlers and board games, this will be a good choice for you as it is a nice combination of all of those genres and mechanics.

Thoroughly enjoying this so far. Will update as the game develops, but so far this is a super solid base. Highly recommend.

Edit: A lot of time has passed since the initial release. I can safely say this is the best autobattler on the market. Constant updates, no/few predatory transactions, full of eureka moments, endlessly replayable, easy to learn but hard to master making you strive to get better. Games don't get much better than this.

Deeply strategic, especially in duos or squads. It's interesting making build routes that synergise with your team mate(s) and being able to pick up materials for each other. Great art and character diversity. Very fair economy if playing F2P. Only issue is queue times in Europe as it's not very popular here. During non-peak times you can be waiting 12-15 minutes for a normal game (not sure if ranked is any different). That's why I'm writing this review; in the hopes of making more people decide to give it a try and recommend it to their friends etc. If you enjoy this game, writing a review is a must IMO; for the main reason of alleviating a flaw in the game that's fixable by the community.

Easy to learn, difficult to master, and a bloody good experience while doing it.

I love this game. I love the devs and the rest of the team behind it. I love the discord community (highly recommend you go hang out there). A truly a great experience for anyone despite their age, gaming background and so on. It's just great fun. What are you waiting for? Go play it!

It's taken a while, but the game is playable now and actually quite enjoyable. I think a lot of people had a sour taste left in their mouth(including myself) after the initial hype and then the letdown of all the failures during release. I still have a lot to explore, but currently enjoying how deep(ha) the game is.
