I wish there was an option available to me for an informative review, but there isn't. I enjoy this game a ton and I would recommend it to you as it is an extremely well-made zombie PvE and PvP if you play versus, however, its sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, contains every campaign in this game plus a lot more and addons. There is even a mode to change the game to feel more like the first game.

However, this mode doesn't fully replicate the original game. All the mode does is change the weapons. The atmosphere of the original game is dark and dull and much less campy than the second game, which is very bright, and there are also other details not replicated such as the GUI and being able to see your legs. There are little changes to the maps as well. Therefore, I do not feel like L4D is entirely in L4D2. If you would like to experience the original atmosphere, buy this game. L4D2 is better if you don't want to experience the original atmosphere but instead want a game with more content. In conclusion, I say to try getting your hands on both.

It isn't worth it. If you get it as a part of the Valve Complete Pack and also own Gmod, you're in luck as this gives you original HL models in the game. If buying this independently, just go buy the original instead, or if you want to play an actual good remake, go play Black Mesa. It's a crappy port to the Source Engine of the original GoldSrc game and also comes with a lot of bugs. One such and very famous example is this infamous image of a floating scientist.

There are a few pros to this port, however the ♥♥♥♥ outweigh them. A few positives are that the flashlight lighting is better than the original, this game gives you Gmod models, the ragdolls are cool, and there is nostalgic value for me and probably some other people because I was a fan of the Freeman's Mind series, which was recorded on this port of the game. However, there are many bugs and glitches, strange lighting, out-of-place water, etc. If you would like to learn more, LamWarp has an excellent video explaining many of the problems with this game. In conclusion, just get the original or Black Mesa.

This game is amazing. The gameplay is very addicting and the soundtrack is awesome.

Raft is an amazing game where you and maybe some friends are stranded on a raft in the middle of the ocean. It's great when you have friends, because things can get chaotic when the shark is eating the boat and 2 people are stabbing it and the other just collapsed from dehydration (actually happened, I drank too much saltwater.) Another good thing is the base building, where you can gather materials like debris in the ocean and other things on islands. My game runs at like 10 - 15 FPS though but that's just my PC. In conclusion, get it.

tl;dr: Ricochet is a fun game and we should revive it.

The purpose of this game is to throw discs at each other. Sounds simple and stupid, but Ricochet is a fun game if players are online. The first match of Ricochet I played was with two other people. There was Player and someone else. It was in the server, “Original Ricochet,” which is a server with no modded maps, just the vanilla maps like rc_deathmatch. Of course, the modded maps are good, but the original maps just feel a bit better. I stopped playing for a while because my ping was in the thousands but that stopped. I attempted to convince my friend to get it, but he just didn’t feel like wasting his money on a game from 2000. You may think I am dumb for playing this game for 2.4 hours (at the time of this review) but, why shouldn’t I waste my time on a game from 21 years ago? Together, we can revive Ricochet, a seemingly simple game that is actually fun.

An amazing floppy physics puzzle game, where you can beat levels the unintended way or just fool around in the level with dumpsters or boats or anything else. You can play it with friends and get the challenging achievements. The only negative thing I have to say about this amazing game is that the physics are sometimes a little too floppy. Other than that, this game is amazing. Great job, Curve Digital.

Another smash hit from Valve. If you're a fan of puzzles and humor, buy this game. If you aren't, still buy it. This is a very well-made game with its single-player and co-op campaigns, as well as addons. Good job, Valve.
