Game is fun but I don't know how the game shipped with such atrocious AI, like you're in a game of Siege with snapshot wallhackers. Your squadmates also just barrel right into fire at the drop of a hat and they can get shot twice while guys in t-shirts and kevlar vests take half a mag to put down. The devs recently said they will be addressing the issues in coming hotfixes but it's dumb how such a instrumental part of the game has been fundamentally broken for so long.

Losing Berwyn as a companion was the biggest L this game has taken to date. In a sea of uninspiring bimbos the biggest solace was having a femboy top to wade through it with.

I never write reviews for games, but I am entirely compelled to leave nothing but the most glowing review for this. Everything about Choice of Magics was superb, from the characters to the unexpected events and everything in between. I started on the story thinking I would use it as a way to occupy my spare time, yet I ended up plowing through my first playthrough in one day! There were parts that made me tear up, made me laugh, made me angry, and in the end completely satisfied (somehow I ended up with the happiest possible ending on my first try). I'll stop gushing now but I implore anyone who comes across this review to give this a shot, even if it's not your thing. 10/10 absolutely splendid.

Recruit is most OP operative and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

A game I can always come back to when I'm bored. This game has brought nothing but joy and fun like no other game I have can.
