I LOVE THIS GAME.
This game is so cozy and fun.. it's not what you think, download and try it because it gets addictive and before you know it you've been playing forever.

also.. puppies.

I was really looking forward to this. It looks so beautiful. The ART is amazing and enjoyable but I wasnt able to control it well enough to enjoy it. I tried it once but wouldn't try again. I'm using just the keyboard and mouse so Id love to know if maybe its better with a different method?

Well.... I really wanted MARIO CART but my hubby didnt get me my Nintendo Switch for my birthday.
So here I am playing Garfield Cart...on a PC without a gaming mouse.
Maybe if I wasn't angry about all that I'd have more fun.... meh. Idk.

It was cute!
.....But the driving was all over the place.
I tried it for quite a while but it was a short and simple game really, no story or anything to pull you in - you're just there in a car on a track and you go faster............ and crash.. over and over.
I love Garfield. Grew up with Garfield so it is enjoyable for fans of the cat ;) Youll see Odie and Jon and all the other characters from the comics. They don't talk though and I didn't see any jokes. Just... the track and the car lol.

It could be better!
Ill try again some other time.

Any hints how to get a 50yr old hubby to understand that his wife wants to play Mario Cart and Animal Crossing?

It's awesome.
Mostly because there are AMAZING wallpapers for your computer there and you can have as many as you want.

But..... its not for the average everyday user.
You are probably not going to get this and just start making beautiful graphics and gorgeous wallpapers right away. It is going to take time and study and you'll have to learn it.

It is not user friendly for every average user.

Most of us are not graphics designers and sadly not used to this kind of software.
This is something that is probably the first thing like it that you the user has ever seen.
So many of us will need guidance and instruction.
This doesn't have that.
Its a find out as you go kind of thing. Its an experiment with everything and mess up alot and get frustrated kind of thing.
Its a go search on google and YouTube for every single thing kind of thing.
Its an ask questions in forums and hope for answers kind of thing.

I really want to master this but its been hours and hours now and I have yet to figure out how to get a darn preview pic on my wallpaper once I create it.
I did it once and it came out but now the 2nd time I'm lost again.
It is just not that average user friendly.
The buttons and choices look like something professionals use and not like something everyone can figure out.

I love it but I have to really work at it just to get the basics done.
*sigh*

So... it is probably most used to get wallpapers others have made and put them on your computer.
They are all animated and gorgeous and the art is incredible. There are some that interact with your mouse and some that interact with music.
Its worth getting but it is difficult to master.

Also, anything you subscribe to or favorite there will show up on Steam to your friends and the public.
Anything you create will also. But you have to upload it correctly.

THIS IS AN AWESOME GAME.

This game is great for your own individual Roleplay and great for its own storylines.
It is exciting and it stays true to the star wars lore and methods.
I love it. I'm a HUGE Darth Vader/Anakin fan so I had to get this and I had to play this!
I've also written my own Star Wars stories and Role-played Star Wars characters before. This game was recommended to me by players who were in Second Life at the time Rp'ing there.

I know many others have plenty of good things to say about it so I will just mention a few things that bug me.

I love the game... but..........

1. You'll end up not playing if you can't figure out what path to take, what career, or what to do next or choose next. Or if you cannot find a good guild or group that helps you learn how to do things and which choices to make.

You are going to definitely need tutors/teachers and friends who actually explain things to you.
Yes there are guilds you can join but they are not always up to tutor you as much as you may need. There is some lingo to learn too which can be kinda hard but if you are determined you'll get it.

The worst thing is that the game makes you kind of depend on other players to teach you.

Once you get going in the game you will depend on its very short tutorials each time you need to go to the next step. But they don't tend to be enough. You will need other players.
There aren't many explanations IN GAME except those little fact sheet tutorials but there are hundreds of YouTube videos on each option if you have time for that.

I recommend Swotorista if you are looking for a good teacher!

Each choice you make in the game will affect the outcome of your story and your future options for what you will be able to do or not be able to do. To make that choice though you need to know how to go about it and what it entails and how to do it in the first place.
((That is the one reason I kinda stay away. I want to get into it more and progress but I spend most of my time trying to learn everything.)) It is hard to learn and decide on what to do or become or create or make etc. Its easy to follow the things that the game tells you to do for story progression but it gets more complicated when you want to earn enough to change your clothes or update your home or learn new abilities.

2. You will end up making a bunch of characters and you may not really decide which one is your main. Most players have a rogue, a sith, a jedi and an imperial too in order to see the same storyline play out in all those different ways. There are also other categories of characters under each of those types too so, you will end up making a ton of characters. If you are indecisive like me you'll be going nutty.

A free to play account allows 3 characters, after that you will need to pay.
So just know you will end up paying for the game monthly because you will want more abilities and more things and more characters.
The free to play account isn't really enough. I also could not even get the chat to work until I subscribed.

Graphics: 9/10
Movement is great 10/10
Battle is great 9/10
Weaponry/Abilities are fantastic. 10/10
Storyline is 10/10
Acting is 8/10 but the characters are interesting.

Its very fun.

You get given your own personal home base in time which is 8/10 ..there is some customization but not much. Your character cannot SIT or LAY DOWN or interact with anything really so it doesn't quite feel realistic.

Is it for other gamers other than star wars fans? Yes. It is an okay introduction.
People new to Star Wars should watch the films FIRST to learn about the details or the emotions involved or the meaning. Most players would also recommend that you play the original Star Wars Old Republic first though for better immersion and understanding. Its not necessary but it does help.
There are some plot twists too so that's fun.

So, again I recommend watching SWOTRISTA youtube videos for anyone who gets lost in anyway.
If you watch those and you still feel up to the challenge then play! Its a GREAT GAME for people who want to be a little more creative than just playing the typical games that hand the character you will be and the life you will live right to you.

I have to recommend this game because it is an EPIC & iconic part of the Star Wars Lore and story lines.
Every star wars fan tries this game and even if they stop playing it they usually go hear about what happens in the story from others.
The characters are important to know especially if you are interested in Grey Jedi or anything about the Jedi or Sith.
I am a HUGE Darth Vader/Anakin fan, so this was a must have.

I'll update this when I go back to play it again in the future.
It can be a quirky game to play, but its worth exploring the story on your own. GREAT story.

Play: At first I wasn't able to get used to the movement and I wasn't sure what was going on because the game is a little dated since it has been around a long time. I stuck with it and it became easier.

Graphics are simple/early 2000 type. 6/10 (takes awhile to get the hang)

Characters: 10/10 (they get better as you go)

Customization/clothes/items: 7/10

Movement 6/10

Ease of knowing where to go/what to do: 7/10

Hard on the average computer? Not really. Just close other apps.

Okay for beginner gamers? Yes.

Good for star wars fans? YES.

Plot 10/10

I wish I could say that I had a nice time with Runescape.
I really wanted an open world that I could interact with and explore.
In the end this was all just to difficult.
I may return to it in the future, but probably not.

RuneScape was free to play so I downloaded it. I didnt realize how much space it would take up or how hard it would be to run on my PC. I have a laptop that is much older than the game itself so I didn't think it would be such an issue.
It took alot of time just to get past all that and get in best I could.
Once in, I had to go through a tutorial. Again issues as the game takes up a lot of memory/space.
The tutorial is older and the graphics are as well. You dont see any graphics at all like what you see in the commericals or photos. Its very very basic and difficult to figure out the movement and procedures. You do figure it out but its slow going.
There isn't alot there to tell you the PLOT or who you are to be or what the game will be like.
I ended up giving up after awhile because it was time consuming, I didnt see anything like the photos there and it just seemed to old and dated to me. My PC was hating it too.

I wanted to enjoy this but just didn't. If you have tips Id love to hear them.

Graphics from what I saw: 4/10

Time taker? Yes
Hard on normal PC's: Yes.
For beginner gamers? : Maybe, but there are other games that will give you better graphics and immersion right now. If it changes I'd probably try again.

Cattails is SUCH a cute game.

It's very realistic as far as what the life of a kitty might be out there in the wild.

First off it's sad at the beginning because the poor kitten gets the worst owners ever.
They decide they don't want him anymore and just drop him off in the middle of a forest all alone!
He made an accidental mess so they drove him out there like serial killers..

When he is all alone in the forest (yes in the rain) he suddenly sees another cat who decides to be his friend! That cat then tells him about 3 different kitty tribes. The player gets to decide which one they want the cat to belong to. Once you pick one the game begins and the ghost cat vanishes.

In his new little kitty tribe (which we don't meet yet)... your kitty gets his own little hut where he can sleep and where he can keep the prey he has caught and the items he finds.
When he wakes up the next day he sees that the other cats in the tribe have their own little huts and the area is organized like a small little town. There are boundaries around the tiny tiny town and once they go out of those boundaries they are again in the wild and no longer safe, but if they remain in town they will remain safe with the others. (Note: that is so not how life actually works.)

So how do you make friends and progress?
You find out about the tasks the town needs accomplished and if you complete those tasks you will get paid. Then you can buy you things that you need, like medicines and doctors (after a fight with cats from other tribes you'll need a doctor) or other things.

The script is simple and concise but it does draw you in because you want to get to know all the characters.

Your cat will need to learn to hunt and forage to survive.
Once he starts hunting and finding good berries or medicines he can bring them home to his little hut and survive well. When he gets curious and ventures out past the borders and boundaries he will meet other cats from other tribes who aren't very happy to see him hunting in their territory.
He will then have to learn to fight and fight well.. to swim and to get stronger.

There is some magic and good storytelling in the game and you will root for your little kitty.

Its a very relaxing and chill game that engages your mind and stays enjoyable.
You will feel like your little guy is actually a cat in the wild.. even though in real life things would be much tougher for a kitty.

Graphics are simple and not very in depth.
Very simplified.
Colors are nice, I am not sure if the game has any mods?
Characters are cute but still quite human like.
Fights are the harder part to learn.
Hunting and foraging can be quite simple.
The game is for all ages.
Takes very little space on your PC.

Very cute.

Its sexy.
That's why everyone plays it.
I'd love to be as hot as they are and be saving the world.

I have no idea what the plot is or what I am doing yet.

I liked that all the characters were FEMALE SUPERHEROS ...that is very very cool!
But um.. it doesnt really explain itself.

Maybe this was a tv show or something that I didn't see?
Get out the YOUTUBE because you will need it to learn everything.

I've just started this game, so I will update the review as I get more experience.

The game does take up a lot of memory and ram so it may not be for lightweight computers, I spend a lot of time working with my computer to assist it.

The beginning is just a huge character customization effort. Which is fun!
The avatars/characters can be very sexy and pretty but they aren't going to be very "modest" lol. Im sure none of my friends would be caught dead playing this but then.. they are all over 40 and kinda boring.

You can also make villains which is awesome. There are so many CHOICES about what to look like!!

Once you are in, if you want to know what to do next?
Good luck.
You really don't have a lot of direction as to where to go or what to do or how to do it.
There really is no instruction. No one there in game to help either. No character meant to teach you the ropes.
I've gotten lost and stuck and all the rest just in the beginning. YouTube is going to be the saving grace, but games shouldn't depend on other gamers teaching new gamers.

Graphics are 9/10 (some of the action is just overly bright and huge and distracting, I know that is the anime type of thing but omg its so bright.)

Characterizations are 9/10 (they could use some other types of faces and skintones)

Costumes: fantastic 10/10

Explanation of how to play or even what the plot is: 4/10

Movement 7/10

For beginner gamers? nah. Unless you are determined.

Adults only? Yes.

Will you need Youtube to teach you the game? oh Yes.

Now off to explain to hubby that this is my game and no he cant play it.
Who am I kidding? He doesn't know I have this.

I really bought the game because of the ART. The images are FANTASTIC. I had to support that. Then I tried to play. I'm still learning and going slowly because I'm not in a hurry to get into a community that every single review says is really toxic lol. I may keep going or I may not. If I do I will update this review.
