It's not an unpopular opinion to say RDR2 is the GOAT of modern gaming. Everything in this game is so well put together and thought out, and the gameplay is often so innovative in so many respects that every hour you spend playing feels novel and new. The characters and narrative are incredible, and I've personally never really encountered a story so detailed and 'real' as here. Beneath it all, you have a really honest reflection on a man coming to terms with his mortality, and the power you have in shaping your own life.

Early Access Review
A fantastic expansion of the first game that, while currently pretty short, will be nice to see expanded on as the updates come. Graphics, mechanics, and QOL are the biggest improvement, and all the new locations are pretty amazing. The lack of bee drones is limiting, though- I find myself only able to manage 3-4 full corrals at a time without them. After playing around 15 hours, I've done almost everything there is to do.

At current, I would really call this an expansion of the first game rather than a true sequel, but it is Early Access after all. I'm sure that by the time the full release comes it'll be perfect. Definitely still worth it at the moment though, imo :)

Cute little game that I personally enjoyed. It has a lovely message and, at the very worst, occupies 15 minutes of your time. Love to the developer <3

A 21st century masterpiece, Pocket Waifu effortlessly casts a shadow over all human achievements to date. If there is extraterrestrial life, there will now be one means by which we can claim technological and artistic superiority. The game is, miraculously, free to play, but worth an infinite sum of money- a value that is realised only upon playing the game and wishing to make any degree of progress. A defining piece in capitalist and human history, Pocket Waifu is a truly timeless and flawless production.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is both a visually confronting and stunning game, aided by its strong and interesting narrative. The dialogue and voice acting is immaculate, so much so that I found myself at times having to stop and appreciate how especially believable Hugo's character is. The varying middle-ages France backgrounds in which each chapter of the story is set are reasonably immersive- as immersive as can be with a frankly obscene amount of rats covering every available surface. In my opinion, the gameplay is the only aspect of the game which can be critiqued significantly- during the middle of story, I found the combat and stealth really repetitive and even tedious at times, but it picked back up towards the end.

Asobo has crafted a very compelling and almost flawlessly executed narrative in Innocence, and it's well worth the reasonable price tag. There's also ratnados.

The depth of content in this game is really astounding, to think that it was all done by one man is just such an insane thought. It's incredibly fun, and even more fun with a friend. I feel confident saying this game is truly perfect within its category; there are no flaws, and my expectations are constantly exceeded.

Buy it.

Nice graphics.
Nice concept.
Nice execution.
Intuitive system in the season-years time mechanics.
Fun to play until you inevitably run out of content, but I'd say, for games like this, it's worth it and no more content is needed.

Great game, if you're thinking about buying it, do it, you won't regret it. (and if you do, you'll know within two hours so you can just refund it if it's not for you ;) ).

This is a message to the developers of the game, if they will ever see this:

You guys have made a great game. Graphics, intuitive and original concepts implemented in the age-old setting of being 'stranded on an alien planet', movement is fun - overall, it's nice.

But sadly, I've only played two hours. The problem is, the beginning of the game is as, if not more of a grind than the end-game. Now I actually don't mind grinding in games. As long as I love the game. Getting players to grind right off the bat in a game is not a good idea, because you're thinning out your playerbase to the people who absolutely adore and will instantly love this game the moment they boot it up. For people like me, who would happily play this game once they got further into it, the grind is just a mental barrier that is difficult to surpass. If grinding is present towards mid or end-game, your playerbase have already developed a connection and liking towards the game to get to that point, and will be far more willing to push through and put in the hours to get things accomplished.

So, even though I'm leaving a "not recommended" review for this game, I hope you guys see this and become a touch more aware in regards to the psychology of your playerbase. Push the grinding back, my guys, cause I know I'm not alone in leaving this great game at two hours played.

Oh my good lord, what a 'game'.

Emily Is Away Too is one of those games that absolutely kills it when it comes to doing exactly what it set out to achieve. The script is so intuitive and realistic, even feeling accurate to the time period it's set in, and its just wonderful. It's especially suited to people who can really appreciate good writing and see behind the actual experience itself, and to how cleverly it is constructed.

Emily even showed 'me' one of my now favourite bands, Manchester Orchestra, so thanks for that too, devs!

Can't fault it.

I couldn't recommend this game any more, honestly. Just calling it a game sounds.. oddly degrading. You'll understand after you play it.

Valley is a thing of beauty. A combination of sustained tension and beauty really allow no dull moment to pass in the game. But where Valley is truly set apart from other games of its genre is its manipulation of generic game movement. Adding such a straight-forward mechanic like gaining momentum when going downhill just makes getting from point A to B feel dynamic and entertaining, alongside other intuitive mechanics such as a grappling hook-style (but momentum based and far more entertaining) "viper" system, running across water, high-speed rails if the game was ever getting too slow for you, and much, much more.

With a formidable world design and gorgeous graphics, Valley will have a smile on your face as you run down hills and jump gorges just to move across the map, and you won't be able to help but stop every few moments to regain the awe you experience upon simply observing your surroundings.

Oh, and it has a good plot, of course. Just buy it. It's an experience you won't forget.
