Absolutely incredible game. It'll scratch an itch you didn't realize you had! The art, atmosphere, gameplay, soundtrack, & story hit so well for me; I would encourage anyone with an inkling of interest to pick this badboy up.

TL;DR:
Review Playtime - 493 Hours
Gameplay – (Strategy) 9/10
Performance – (Could Run on a Toaster) 10/10
Soundtrack – (Immersive) 10/10
Length - (Marathon) 9/10
Price Value- (Bang for your Buck) 10/10
Personal Recommendation – Highly recommended! Plenty to do in the game and tons of replayability. Worth it at full price, a moral imperative to purchase if it goes on sale!

Overview:
All scenarios revolve around being stranded on a hostile planet, and a desire to either reach the stars, or return to them.

You launch the game and you see the characters do not visually have any arms; 15 minutes later you tell them to hunt a pack of muffalo that get angry. Before you know it, one of the character health sheets tells you that Grober is missing his bottom right pinkie toe. Grober is a pyromaniac and having 9 toes was the final straw. He sets your wood structure ablaze, and you did not set firefighting as a priority. Better luck next time, kiddo.

Gameplay:
This game is an amazingly entertaining spreadsheet simulator with visual results. You juggle several variables, some of them basic, others.... not so much. You need food to keep your colony fed, you need entertainment to keep them happy. Everyone has unique traits (Jealous, Greedy, Careful Shooter) that will allow them to fit different kinds of roles and be terrible at others. The more you prioritize aligning tasks with the correct individuals, the more the game rewards you. Until the fates decide you are doing too well.
Pros -
1.) Detailed UI; almost everything has an additional text box with details. All interactions are also logged on players, so extremely entertaining to see that one of your colonists swooned another by, “comparing them to a fluffy cloud.”
2.) Varying levels of difficulty & playstyles; start with Phoebe Chillax while learning. Once you have mastered the basics, prepare to be obliterated by Randy Random
3.) Tons of Mods and an active community
Cons -
1.) Steep learning curve; might deter most players
2.) Detailed stat panels mean that you will be reading text. A lot.
3.) Memorizing hotkeys for the UI menus is almost mandatory

Performance:
The game has a Prison Architect art style. Most of the detail will be up to your imagination based on the information panels. I enjoy the aesthetics; they fit the game well.
Soundtrack:
The soundtrack is amazing! If you can imagine something along the lines of dark country, space bounty hunter, that is what the game delivers. The songs fit so well in both the good times and the hard times. Better than most Triple-A titles out there
Length:
To reach the final objective, the game is incredibly long! On Rough difficulty, I have played campaigns that lasted over 60 hours. I hate to admit that those campaigns did not make it to space…

You can play realistic, meaning only one save file, or you can utilize the ‘ole “scum save” technique too. The game is easy to pick up and can be saved any time you want to put it down. The difficulty lies in actually putting it down.

Price Value:
By far one of the best purchases I’ve made on Steam to date. You can leave this game for months, then return to it and get another 20 hours in a week you weren’t expecting to put into it.
Summary:
Rimworld falls into my top 10; if you like strategy, sims, or any colony management games you need to pick this one up! And if you don’t have the cash to spend, put it on your wishlist and snag it the MOMENT it goes on sale.

Graphics

Decent; you'll probably leave it running between queue times of other games.

Gameplay

Clicking and waiting.

Music

No way Jose. Put on your own

Recommendation

Not bad for a free clicker, but the grind is rather intense. I believe they accomplished what they set out to do, which was to make a racing idle clicker.

Warband is one of the most immersive games I've played in a long time. The vanilla version offers hundreds of hours; add in all of the additional content from Mods and you're in for a real treat! This game is one of the OG Skyrims. Look past the dated graphics and you'll lose hours massing an army and chasing down bandits (or maybe you'll be the bandit!)

By far one of the best F2P experiences out there! The game has a fairly high learning curve starting out (Unique currency system, skill tree, and abilities tied to gems), but if you tough it out Path of Exile is guaranteed to suck time from you.

I highly recommend following a "Build Guide" for your first playthrough, and once you are comfortable with the basic mechanics and structure of leveling a character, download Path of Building a create your own.

Even in it's early access state, this badboy is well worth the $15 price tag! Build 37 allows you to even host a server right off your PC with the click of a button and invite your friends on steam. Don't be fooled by the negative reviews of individuals who aren't even looking at the patch changes and development updates.

There is a huge amount of community feedback and even information available if the Downvoters would take a little time to look:

Ultimately, this game will undoubtedly give you the bang for your buck. Skip a Triple Cheeseburger for a day and buy this game instead.
