So the biggest question you should ask yourself is: Do you enjoy platforming? And medium-to-hard, somewhat traditional metroidvania mechanics, that over time diverge from tradition to create a helluva lot more than your typical metroidvania experience would have? Do you not mind occasional setbacks in pursuit of a goal? If so, you'll probably enjoy this.

I happen to be built out of Skill Issues and as such it's not the game for me, but is one that I find intriguing nonetheless, and one which I recommend those with Bad-At-Platforming-Itus consider watching a blind playthrough of rather than calling it "bad" for being harder than you expected.

I've heard this described as the metroidvania-ey equivalent of Outer Wilds, which imo is *the* greatest game of all time, from people who have played Outer Wilds but don't have the Skill Issues i do. And I can see how and why they came to that conclusion - but remember, in a metroidvania you have to EARN it. If you are up to that challenge, give it a go.

If you aren't at least moderately good at platforming and resilient in the face of setbacks, you may not get far enough to truly appreciate what lurks under the surface of this title. I still highly recommend this even though I personally am too much of a klutz to sink the time needed into it to overcome my lack of dexterity.

It's like if chess had time travelling, giant-insect-squishing mechs, and a variety of missions and upgrade paths to make you, or your squad of mechs and pilots, better at punching insects.

Good quality of life choices, and a difficulty that ranges from a fun romp to a brutal strategy where every moment you're weighing up the cost/benefit of every single move you make.

Did i mention the bug punching? there's bug punching. It's FUN.

Very chill (well, mostly chill! rush hour goes real hard at times) game with a zen-like puzzle atmosphere, minimalistic but heartfelt to the core.

Story mode (based on Endless but with a couple narrators and some Plot) is a very cute way to intro the concepts involved, diving into each gamemode, returning to Endless Mode as its main core experience each time you finish the tutorial examples.

It's kind of like if you took a train routing puzzle game and let the player build all the infrastructure up, unlocking automation along the way. Progression feels well balanced, the ability to pause and build is a huge relief for us who get stressed at time limits, in general it's my newest time-sink.

I can see myself coming back to this for years just to try different station/map layouts or build my own.

Honestly it's pretty good ♥ lots of different strategy, enough depth that things will be different per playthrough... It is genuinely a fun experience. Though be prepared for eyestrain if you don't have the scaling set up just right.

My introduction to Battlefield, and my favourite of them all so far. Sure, having jets sounds cool, but I like this one better than BF3.

Space. The final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Jebediah.
It's mission: To crash into strange new worlds, To get hopelessly lost in the void of space while seeking the Space Kraken, and to boldly blow up where no Kerbal has exploded before.

I personally disliked this game. I picked it up because it was cheap, and because I'd heard good things about the time-warping mechanics.

It wasn't a bad game, but to me it was supremely boring in both story and design. Borderline frustrating. The difficulty curve is more of a zig-zag than a curve, one moment you're cursing the developers for their feindish ways and the next you're bored ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going through the most childishly easy levels you've ever seen.

I know there will be people out there who like depressing stories and inconsistant challenges - well, you will probably get more enjoyment out of this than I did.
