On one hand I could say it's a bit walking simulator as big part of game are simple "space puzzles". Maybe not exactly that but I don't have better world for it.
There are full chapters without combat and those puzzles are not tricky or hard.
But that's a good thing, it is just way of telling story.
During this time, you get more time to sink in to past and motivation of Senua.
It is story telling game first, action later. Combat is more like addition, break between parts of story.
Still it is well made combat system. And I do enjoy fight parts.
Also game progression is story driven. There is no loot, no skill tree or stats to get/develop.
And it is also lovely refresh after so much grinding many games have this days.

This game is a bit like book or movie as if you would not control your character, just watch her do all this it would not hurt it much. But it is simply due to how it is made. You can just sink in to this story.
If I turn off light, put headphones then I can easly feel like inside head of Senua.
Maybe not exactly like main character of game, more like another of voices inside of her head (and there is bunch of them there already) but that doesn't take immersion off even one bit.
Even with gamepad in my hand I still feel a bit like passenger in this trip that is here only to experience this journey.

10/10

*Game recommends using headphones and take that as strong recommendation. Sound is huge part of game and how it builds its story.
Also I would recommend pad over mouse + keyboard.
