Rough around the edges, and a bit empty still. But a great base and the gameplay works really well!

Fun little game that offers interesting campaign scenario's, but also good fun to play using your own rules: get a friend and alternate building armies and see who wins X times for example, increasing how many points you are allowed to use each time.

I do hope they work on optimisation a little bit. Small battles are completely fine, but when you're approaching 100 v 100 units things can start skipping frames a bit, and I have a pretty high-end PC. Slow motion does definitely help with this, but running the entire battle like that will take ages.

Fun and ever so slightly confusing game with great potential! Would like to see better gamemode descriptions though.

This game is one with infinite potential. There's so much room to add content, mechanics and other interesting story-telling devices that I imagine the devs won't have to worry about running out of ideas. And so far, they haven't.

Each update and expansion has added so much in terms of content and game mechanics, it's almost like playing a sequel. The developers are not scared of radically changing elements they feel don't work well and replacing them with better ideas. It's clear that the developers care a lot about the game and will continue to care for it for a long time.

The DLC policy is of course a little pricey. I think that some of the sets for like portraits or ships are a little overpriced. However, the big expansions are pretty fair, especially considering they really overhaul the game in a major way and a policy like this allows the devs to keep doing just that; making the game much better than it was. On top of that there are frequent sales allowing new players to pick up several expansions in one go.

EDIT: Game still receives frequent updates addressing major gameplay concerns. Devs thankfully communicate with the community very well. Great work!

This game allows such an insane amount of creative freedom, it's absolutely unreal. This game is the theme park builder of your dreams, allowing you to build pretty much anything.

The only gripe I have with it is that the path editor is a bit finnicky. That's it. Done.

This game is insanely brilliant.

Very fun game. People are complaining about graphical issues on AMD cards. I have an AMD card (290) and it runs pretty well. Had one texture flickering moment thus far, nothing unplayable. And the flickering isn't something the devs caused, AMD is going to release a driver which will fix this issue. The game itself is very well done and the controls feel intuitive. Doesn't feel like a port at all (if it even is one).

At this point I can not recommend this game.

In the early stages, levels 1 and 2, the game is fun, pretty balanced and overall enjoyable. Then, you hit level 3. And that's where all hell breaks loose. Suddenly tanks are in play and everyone has machineguns that kill you with 2 shots. It suddenly drains all the fun away. The Assault maps are horrible, there's just planes flying everywhere (the noise!) and you're not doing much.

Conclusion: 8/10 for the early stages of the game. After that it rapidly devolves into a 3/10.

An absolute classic, TF2 is one of the greatest fun shooters out there. A great community really keeps this game alive. 10/10.
