pain. You only get a russian aircraft with a not understandable language on every thing and a prop plane which is from WWII.
Also it has no ingame configuration for HOTAS or Yoke systems.
Only recommended if you plan to spend 3000€ on the DLCs

Its good, carryable guns, explosives, grenades, realistic vehicle weapons, warheads, EMPs, missiles, rockets, beer-bottles- filled-with-explosives-shooters (Gatling guns/rotary autocannons), personal armor and more, but it still lacks content though, which will probrably not change since this DLC is already more than a year old and is almost in the same state as at the day of release(bugfixes are still being made but almost no content is added), but other than that its realistic, modern and fun. But there are a few issues which have never been fixed and are NOT bugs.
Firstly, the Conquest Mode is well... its not really good. The AI just lags the game into oblivion, its very buggy and batteling it is a waste of time, but luckily some guys on the workshop remade Conquest Mode without these Issues, so the Weapons DLC can be a lot of fun even alone! Well, if you choose to PVP though, there are quite a few issues. There is no real armor, unless you want your vehicle to weigh as much as a whole Nuclear Powerplant. Why? Well the weight blocks, which were used as weights before the DLC have now been "buffed" to be used as armor, which is completly useless against HE, AP or in some cases even the lighter Ammo types, since there are no debuffs to choosing OP ammo over standard kinetic ammo. I mean you can be a gigachad and choose not to use the OP ammo types, but there are few people doing so and even though i'm one of them, unless you are playing with your friends you will feel like you fight cheaters, even though they just exploit the HE ammo and the fact that theres no good armor besides chaff and flying faster than light using the flywheel glitch. And then there are those... those not so nice people... They even choose to tell everyone they have a skill issue because they dont XML-Edit their autocannons to shoot faster or stronger. But well, since the behaviour of people isnt part of the weapons DLC it also shouldnt be part of this review, so Im not gonna talk about that anymore.
Its nice though that this is a DLC since it doesnt fit the "Build and Rescue" theme, which seperates it from the people who just want to play Build and Rescue and it also supports the devs. So in conclusion, this is a nice DLC, but it could be MUCH better if it got a few more buffs/debuffs and frequently requested content like more FPS weapons.

I cant really recommend this DLC but I also cant say I dont, because its good but also bad.
Why? This is a nice DLC, but theres that problem... Its a DLC.
The devs said 1-2 years ago that when they add new content which doesnt fit into the "Build and Rescue" Theme of Stormworks as DLCs. This was fine with the Weapons DLC, it made sense, it was good, the DLC lacked a bit of content but the workshop fixed that. This DLC makes no sense. Why is it a DLC? It fits into the Build and Rescue Theme, it might contain some content which doesnt but it would still make more sense to make this a free Update. If this is just a DLC to make more money, the Devs should think about adding stuff that doesnt seperate even more players that have the DLC from players that dont have the DLC. I have to say this DLC has some really good content, adds some nice features, but overall its not worth the price if you dont have a lot of money to spend and it shouldnt be a DLC. I only bought it so I could play in more Servers and have less Multiplayer restrictions which is absolutely not what the reason of buying it should be.
So again, if the devs want more money, they should not lock Updates behind a paywall, but instead do it like Stationeers(only an example, many other games do the same), where you can support the devs with money by buying non-essential things like cosmetics or more visual customization instead of gameplay content and better multiplayer access.

I have been playing SFS since 2017 on Mobile. Now on PC. I love the PC version, especially the new UI, Settings, textures, effects and wonderul performance. My favourite feature is the Realistic difficulty, with 1:1 scale planets. But now comes the problem. Even though I have never seen a bug in this game(besides stuff clipping into the ground when colliding with high speeds), the difficulty setting "realistic" should be renamed to impossible, or be rebalanced, since I cant even manage to get an unmanned smol rover to the moon, since that turning guide at takeoff to space is extremly inefficient. When trying to just do it without, I always end up having not enough thrust on the second stage anyway, after which I have to turn back to an almost vertical orientation, while trying to get an orbit. After that really hard fight for not falling down again, all my fuel is gone. So basically, landing stuff on other planets than earth is possible, unless you build very ugly square rockets with like 10 thrusters and 5 stages (like N1 with 12 SRBs basically). Even the size of your rocket doesnt seem to matter, at the end you need more thrust, for which you need more fuel, and for that you need more thrust AND fuel etc. Of course there are cheats, but I want to play legit, and for that it needs to be rebalanced. Either increase thrust for the Vacuum Thrusters, or do it another way...

I became DarkMaus, hacking dozens of people, stealing all their money, and then I noticed that I could have been a white-hat hacker... Well, this game is extremly close to reality. I worked with Kali Linux before, trying to hack my other Windows Computer, which worked. Here I can do the same with NPC, or other player Computers/Servers, just with the difference that there's no RL risk involved and the ingame Manual makes everything easy to understand. Best Hacking Game. 10/10. Only one thing that is missing in my opinion is ingame Sound. I currently use a Discord Server with a few nice Music Tracks that make me feel like a real hecker and fits perfectly.

I was excited when I saw the trailer, just to be disappointed by A LOT of changes in the UI which are mostly negative.
With the Same Settings, my FPS dropped from 60, to 20 near Stations, even if I had a good GPU and a Monitor with 144Hz, other people experience those Performance Issues too. The graphics are sometimes good, but most of the time everything looks pixelated, Polygons are sticking out of terrain and objects. Especially near and inside Coriolis Stations. also, when you do bounty contracts, you get 80% less revenue as without the DLC, which for the price, is just hilarious. I mean, its good if you want to land on planets and have some FPS Shooter fun, or do Xenobiology. But most of the time I just play Horizons. Odyssey has lots of potential, but there are so many bugs, performance Issues etc. that it shouldnt have even been released in this state.

Its a very fun game, the scale of space is 1:1, using real measurement units and procedually generating planets that are being discovered realistically, even serving Alien Life and A LOT to discover, there are a few fatal flaws. For example, the huge amount of grind neccessary. Especially with Odyssey, since there Bounty rewards are 80% lower than on Horizons, getting Credits can be a pain in the ***. You will also need third party tools, do extremly time consuming engineering and watch lots of tutorials to get Credits faster. Only the basics are covered in the ingame-tutorials. I luckily have a friend who teached me how to play, so it was a bit easier for me. But when you are a rich boi, the game is sooo much fun! Especially sight seeings, landing on planets, participating in wars, transporting passengers, hunting aliens or pirates, and of course having an influence on the storyline.

This game was really fun, and I recommended it to my friends. For a year there was a multiplayer rework that made it unplayable, but now its sooo much better! The game is heading into the right direction and the devs are working on bugs and issues with the community! its a REALLY good game, unbelievably realistic and so many immersive gameplay mechanics!
Its defintetly worth the buy. Though theres still lots of work to do and it will take a long time until bugs will be something you dont see every minute, but to be honest the bugs are a big part of why the game is so fun sometimes, didnt laugh as much from any other game because the multiplayer desync here sometimes results in e.g. all of the body disappearing but the head and worn items staying, or people turning into ghosts that can troll everyone.

This was once a really fun game... But the account update broke everything. I accidentally put my birth date at the 1th January 2021. Then I couldnt change that anymore. The system where I would need my parents to allow me that didnt work too. I cant chat anymore and the game is kinda dead. Its not worth the price anymore and it sad what out of a game with that much potential has become.

Its a very fun game, I just reached 1000 hours, of which I spent like 600 on Keen UK 2, one of the Public Servers hosted by the devs. One of my Friends recommended me the game and I started playing it. Even though its not so realistic, there is a huge modding community that offers lots of realism and other mods.
Sadly, Keen is releasing a new DLC with every update. They arent very expensive, but sometimes they contain blocks that give you an advantage over others. Also, people who dont have DLCs cant use half of the Workshop ships! But the DLCs have very good content and there is always free content for every update!
The devs are very active at updating the game, fixing bugs, and listening to their community! And thats something not every game has in these days... But I have to say there are a few downsides of the game.
Firstly, the public servers dont get new settings or things that the community wants. Like more PCU, wolves, spiders, scripts etc. Also the game is very CPU and GPU intensive and having better grafics or different settings can give players an advantage. Also there are alot of exploits you can do, which im not gonna tell, since that would cause even more griefing. And example is hydromanning, but they are going to fix that.
But yet, its my favorite game, with an active community, lots of fun, frequently updates/fixes and tons of workshop content.
Thanks for reading!

Edit: Just reached 2000 Hours (ok not really, 1920, but anway) and I still love it!
