After finally getting all the Achievements

Let me just start of by saying that Elden ring is a spectacular game, the Graphics and enemy design are very well done, there's plenty of challenging fights that are rewarding to beat and it can be really fun with friends, I've had some pretty good and funny experiences being summoned by other players.

however, it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

i cannot get over the fact that a LOT of elements in this game are bad game design, certain bosses or enemies Will just smash you into the dirt no matter what you do, Now it's a soulslike, of course it's gonna be hard, but some of the attacks are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, For example, i was summoned into a world where I took all the damage negation equipment as well as maxing my health as far as it would go, so normally I'd be able to tank the boss fairly well, but some of them will just say "lol no" and half you in one attack.

Again I know it's a Soulslike, the fights are hard, but there's also the fact that a LOT of enemies are spam happy, if you're not dealing with some god that'll insta-kill you with their pinky then you'll probably fight some spam happy enemy that will absolutely refuse to let you breathe whatsoever

Luckily however, those types of enemies are few and far between, for the most part a lot of enemies ARE actually fair and balanced and you should pick up on their patterns and dodge their attacks

So if you're a big fan of Soulslikes, i'd say get the game, but you should probably get it on discount since it's fairly pricey

I slew my "Friends" for the fair maiden.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great game and a good sequel, but in it's current state I just can't recommend it.

the performance is horrible, it plays like a slideshow at times and it's genuinely a shame because as soon as that gets ironed out, this is a VERY solid game.

Honestly, just wait until the patches come out before you buy this.

Game's a waste of time, too difficult and new players are going to be discouraged.

This game might not be as great as i remember it being, however i can confirm that it's still a very solid game, the XL battles can be pretty fun for when you want to recreate some films and i honestly prefer the heroes vs villains of this game rather then the modern games, as it's JUST the heroes, with no rebels, droids, clones or stormtroopers to get in the way.

the story itself is actually pretty good, it mostly takes prespective from a clone trooper's journal, talking about his experiences during the clone wars, you get to see how the clones felt during the movies and that's a pretty cool concept.

all in all, i highly recommend this game to you, the force is strong with this one and i can tell you that you'll have a BLAST with it

Stock up on weed killer lads because we got a bunch of angry tree people who just crawled out of your dark souls game and decided to invade earth. unfortunately for them, we have what dark souls characters never had access to, guns.

Especially shotguns because damn you can blow these groots up with these fantastic shotgun.

so uhh, go shoot trees i guess?

Ah Xcom, the game where shooting an alien point blank in the face with a shotgun can also miss, yet it's still fun to shoot aliens anyway.
