How to recover corrupted save data, a guide by Drake Ravenwolf: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2797241037

Prevent someone from generally matchmaking with you during multiplayer:
Set your friend status to anything but offline in steam, start the game, open the in-game overlay, go to players, and recently played with. This will open a list displaying all players you met during multiplayer, showing the most recent one at the top. If you're absolutely sure that (one of) the most recent ones is responsible for bricking your save file, go to their profile by clicking their name, open the drop down menu located in the upper right of the profile saying "more", and finally, press block all communication.

This will prevent them from ever invading you again

Create a manual save file back up
Before/after playing, type %appdata% into the search bar on windows, hit enter, go to roaming and locate a folder called EldenRing. This is where your save data is located. Copy and paste it somewhere safe and paste it into the roaming folder whenever you meet a suspected cheater.
Make sure to disable steam cloud save the next time you're starting Elden Ring, otherwise steam might overwrite your pasted back up.

Thank you Bob.
For some reason half of members of that group were on my block list already. ;-)

Is there even a glimmer of a guarantee that the placeholder Steam Group won't be heckled just like the original? Seems a particular someone is just trying to return to the old and familiar witch-hunting practices and won't stop at anything other than either sheer boredom or a proper pushback.

Actually lord Bob, you will laught when you heard that.

When I stalk, I see that the people which I know as toxic is very close to you (maybe I can be one of them) and it made me have bad ideas, especially when ı checked your friendlist before. I got the idea of u being friends of toxic people.
After a while, I realized the mistake I made. And sorry for putting u on the suspicious list in my mind, Bob.
