Wow this felt like it was designed by gods from another dimension. Playing this gave me Myst vibes. The gaming experience feel a lot like 90s computing. There being a certain level of mystery to the technology in front of you and I haven't felt that in a long time. I've had this in my library for many years now and I'm glad I got into it this week. The puzzels managed a perfect balance of challenge to reward. Progression was fast. Looking at my play time it's evident that when you run the game you enter a differed state of time so don't think Earth time and Room time will line up. Not to make you think it's a long game but also not a short game. I don't remember how much I paid for this but whatever it was, it was worth it. There are few things in terms of the feel I wish would have been mechanically smoother and I hope that will be present in their other games I plan on playing soon.

Fun game with beautiful scenery. If you're a fan of LEGO games this will be up your alley. It offers couch co-op which is perfect for friends who aren't fond of video games due to difficulty. It will take a few sit downs to finish. If I could give one piece of critical feedback its that this game would really benefit from an adjustable difficulty setting. For someone in their 30's playing solo you will find most of the game too easy though that might be what you want. If you want a game that you can easily get through without much thinking and feel a sense of accomplishment try this. There is DLC but it's optional. In terms of graphics a GTX 1050 can only run high frame rate at the lowest graphic settings but it is still visually appealing. That's my review for this one glad to check it off my list.

28 years later I can finally check this off my to-do list. I must say this was worth all the hype I've been hearing about for decades. Mind you the first half of the game I was so frustrated. By todays standards there are so many game design flaws. Theres tons of bugs even though I'm playing the 20th anniversary edition. One of them was game breaking I had to restart the whole level. However as you inch further towards the light at the end of the tunnel the true genius of Gabe Newell seeps through and it becomes crystal clear why this a cult classic. All I want to say is it was all worth the headache of flawed level design. My jaw literally dropped on several occaisions. Dare I say this is more experimental art than a game. I wish I would have played this back then because apparently this had cutting edge programming for the time. Anyways tomorrows another day and theres a new Half Life with a different name out there waiting for us to discover it. Thanks Valve for this game and allowing more great titles like this to be easily accessible to the world.

I bought this game in 2015 and it was a really fun game then. Really gave off early 2000's flash game vibes. I will give this 5/5 stars for the 2015 version. I tried the updated version today April 2026 and the game has been completely changed, I couldn't even figure out what to do having not played in so long. The new design is horrific. Its so easy to buy the DLC but just navigating the first level is confusing as hell. I don't know where to go and there's so many physical obstacles the navigation is just bad. Bad level design. There is a way to play the early game if you look online but its a bit complicated. I would say its still worth buying in 2026 if you are willing to do the tweak I suggested. Once you beat the game and are accustomed to how things work then try out the new up to date version and there definitely are benefits to it, they have a multiplayer system like Diablo where you can play with friends and theres a chat box to chat with others. Thats definitely worth checking out.

If I was still a kid I'd probably put a ton of hours into this but experiencing this as an adult it just seems like a lot of boring repetition. On a positive note the starting world is beautiful and clearly had a lot of time put into it. If you like a slower paced- story based game this is it. I recommend it for that kind of gamer.

This is a fun game it delivers on what it advertises. I would like to make a request to devman tho. I don't feel like I'm serving a purpose as the game stands right now. Its just grab this and deliver it, ok done now what? Oh just repeat that, okay... I would really like to see more challenge. For example stop and interact with NPC's like the weigh station people for truck inspection, police on random pull overs or driving infractions, interaction with the tow truck drivers, daily inspection reports where we have to walk around the truck and look for problems like air leaks or leaking oil from the wheels, ability to manually pump gas at the gas stations making sure not to mix the DEF and fuel tank or deal with costly consequences. How about having to make insurance claims when there is an accident? These should be interactions that require careful responses with consequences. It's a simulator after all and trucking isn't just driving. Sleep is a feature now how about food, and how different foods can help you focus or fatigue you. Would love for dispatch to play a role in the story as well. Every truck driver 100% has to talk to dispatch for their deliveries. They can make orders and alter them part way through the journey. How about talking to other NPC truck drivers that are the pumps or sleep spots. Maybe they can even join the player as a trainee and have a developing story. Obviously there is so much more that can be added to the game it's full of potential that has not been tapped into yet from the dev or modding community. I would happily pay for a story DLC. Each of the accidents on the road could have their own stories. Or when I see a chopper and tune into a certain radio station get an idea of what happened. Maybe offer news radio with insight as to what roads to avoid. Again I'm happy with my purchase and recommend others give this game a shot as the devs clearly maintain the game and I hope this will encourage them to continue adding more content.

Was super excited to get this. Bought it, installed and as soon as I got to the title screen I knew this was going to be a mediocre experience at best. Game UI feels very half ass put together. The tutorial is an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. It's day two and I'm still stuck because the instructions are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'm being told to do this and that like I'm supposed to know where everything is and what the objects are. I'm not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miner I don't know what any of this stuff is. Like the first instruction is to take the car off a hill but the wording is so mistranslated it just doesn't make sense. I'm not going to ask for my money back and I will play the game with all its issues but I'm just disappointed. I found this game from searching on YouTube for mining games 2023. How was this made in 2017 and yet the tutorial still hasn't been fixed since then?! This feels like a 3-6 month beta game and should be priced as such. If there's one nice thing I must say it's the models are really nice and physics feels realistic. Also thank you for making a mining game but for gods sake fix your game.

Used to be an amazing game. Got this recommended to me because I like military games. Installed and it runs well but connecting to a server is an absolute mind boggler. Most servers just plain don't work or if they do it's just bots running around. Maps download at the speed of a 2001 Internet connection speed. Devs should really make this a usable game if they are going to have it on Steam.

Game offers what it advertises. However I feel it is absurdly easy to catch fish once you figure out how to play. For the price I was expecting a more sophisticated "simulator". It feels like a free to play game that I threw money at. I figured by paying as much as I did I wouldn't have DLC this and DLC that thrown in my face. I was wrong. I hope the second game has more effort put into it. If I could go back in time knowing what I know now I'd still buy it but only on sale. Edit: Played the game from the start on realistic mode. I know how to fish in real life that's why I'm saying its just way too easy on here. You can't just throw your lure in any random spot and get a fish that's not how it works you have to move around to see where the fish are active. Either way I'm glad this game exists because it lets you look at 3D models of the fish to see what you should be looking for in the real world.

The artwork in this game is next level good. I really enjoyed the game. However I can't stress enough how frustrating parts of the game were. The puzzles were irritating and for the wrong reasons. Not because they were difficult but because they weren't well thought out. Overall I would still recommend it to people but be patient. If you get flustered put the game down and come back another day.
