Blizzard Entertainment, Blizzard--if I may...

It is the 16th July, in the year of our Lord 2026. America has just turned 250 years old, and England have just lost to Argentina. I've just come home after a long week doing things I would rather not be doing. It's okay, at least I get to play some Overwatch with my friends! Alas, imagine my surprise when the new 1-3-2 game mode, then my abject horror when I see it has replaced 5v5.

What luck! Now I'm spoilt for choice! 6v6 or... 6v6! So now, on top of spending all week doing things I'd rather not do, I can choose to do that on my free time too! You know what I can't choose to do? 5v5.
So, I will just avoid the game for the weekend. I am now just a poor, feckless Overwatch player with nary a balanced game mode to play.

Thank you, Blizzard, for removing the illusion of choice in your videogame. And for fooling a gullible collective of us into thinking you knew just what we wanted.

A time made dark by a world at odds, is made darker still by a consuming void that can only be filled by 5v5...

---

Edit: Apparently, choosing to step away from a game to preserve my enjoyment of it, is something I should be avoided for.

Let me clarify a few things: I still played Overwatch with my friends, the game mode grew on me. What I didn't like is not being able to choose whether I partook in the experimental game mode. It's not that deep, and I was never mad about it xoxo

As someone who played the game and loved it, bugs and all...
I love this game, the story is unique and one of the most replayable that I've played. Yeah, it's glitchy but what can you expect from a rushed release-

Plus I think the Keanu Reeves aspect makes up for the one major glitch I had while playing.

I have a love-hate relationship with this game.
It's easy to get burnt out on it, and some of the people who play this game need to be hugged- but that doesn't take away from the fact that I've been playing Destiny for 7 years on console/PC, and without Destiny 2 I wouldn't have met the most amazing friends.

Yeah, my review doesn't really speak for the game-play, but the fact that I've left the game for 3-5 months at a time and still not been able to actually LEAVE the community is testament to the quality of this game and the longevity of it's content.. (Even if they vault half of it sometimes).

TL;DR: If you never understood why people go back to their exes, just get into Destiny. You'll understand.

One of my favourite games of all times. Nothing beats playing a few hours to relax after a hard day. This game is really a work of art, there's something for everyone. It's most definitely NOT just a farming game.

I'd most definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a game that's easy to run, brimming with wholesome vibes and massive amounts of replayability. (Overall just a perfect game)
